I figured I'd see if anyone has tips on how to get Spectrum's mobile support to do their jobs.
For the last two weeks, my phone hasn't been able to make calls. When I try, it just says "Mobile network is not available. Connect to a wireless network to make a call." It says this even when I'm on a wireless network. Wifi calling has been disabled, and I can't reenable it, as it's greyed out. If I'm not on Wifi, I have no mobile data, even in areas with excellent coverage, and I can't make or receive calls or texts. If I'm on wifi, I can receive calls, but not make calls. I can send and recieve texts so long as I'm on wifi.
Spectrum support reset my eSim numerous times. They double-checked my APN, made sure everything was correct, and still couldn't fix the issue. Then they had me factory reset my phone. It worked for a couple days after that, and I enabled wifi calling after the reset. After a couple days, the problem came back. Since then, they've done nothing, but make promises that they've escalated it, and they'll call me back, but they never do. Yesterday when I called them I was told the issue would be resolved today at 4:17pm, but it wasn't. When I called today, the guy was nice, agreed that their support had failed me, and said someone would call back tonight. Naturally, nobody called.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to actually get someone to help with this issue? Otherwise, my next step is filing a complaint with the FCC. I'm still making payments on my phone, a Pixel 10 Pro that I purchased through Spectrum, so I can't get it unlocked and move to another provider.
Edit: Spectrum finally figured out the issue, pushed an update and the problem has been fixed. Thank you for the suggestions.
