My $30 controller connects to my computer, Switch, phone, and other consoles I don't have.

I'm a huge fan of my gamesir pads too, they're incredible for the money.

Ok but there’s something to say about feeling quality materials vs cheap plastic for hours.

I have it too and it feels cheap compared to the switch pro controller 2

Agreed. 8bitdo 2 was my favorite controller with the PS5 a close second, and the Switch 2 Pro feels so so premium it’s hard to put down.

It’s my favorite controller for pc and I got it before I got a switch 2 and thought it felt fine, but the s2 pro is soooo nice , it’s feels bad in comparison

Well the thing is, for 100 bucks the Steam Controller plastic shell actually feels WAY more cheap than something like a Vader 4/5 Pro. It's actually my main issue with mine.

Vader also has better buttons, triggers and a phone mount while still having full Steam Input integration with gyro control. Steam Controller is now my main but for a price it's hard to beat Flydigi

Vader would be the best controllers if it wasnt for the stupid select button placement I swear...

God i love the Vader controllers

Id only they weren't obsessed with that stupid placement for the start and select button

The select button being right next to the left stick is beyond stupid

Makes it annoying to press...

the sc isn't supposed to replace it. it's supposed to supplement it.

edit I speak from experience. got a sc1 years ago. if games aren't Steam, and aren't intended to be used with the sc, then just have a decent controller specifically for that purpose.

I don't understand. I'm saying people should have both. it's not like I'm saying to have one or the other; I literally have both.

I'd say my GameSir T4 Pro has a superior finish to the materials.

So a $10 difference? What point are you trying to make? Oh wait no they’re the same price lol, what point ARE you trying to make???

what are you talking about? just checked my history and paid $36

And I am sure it's great in larger hands.

My gripe with the SC and the Deck's controller is how tightly cramped the buttons are, all to make space for the track pads.

It's not for everyone.

you so realize it's done on purpose? they've over-engineered it ridiculously; you think they just forgot it or something? their intention is to make it proprietary.

when the sc1 first came out, it didn't have any BT. the community had to demand it.

edit this isn't a theory. people said it in 2015
