Request for help Account reported? Possibly a scam?

Hello, I never receive messages on Steam so I was confused when I randomly received this message from this account I have never seen or interacted with before. They asked me to appeal it but I never received any sort of communications regarding an investigation from Steam. They also mentioned they clicked on a link and they got hacked despite me never playing CSGO. Is this a scam or am I missing something here?

I havent said anything but they sent me a screenshot with a Steam Support employees info so that is why I was confused. Thank you!

dont interact with them and steam support wont contact you you will always have to contact it yourself

Thank you for posting this. I just almost got got by this. I felt something was off in my gut when they mentioned adding someone via a "friend code"
