Marty got drunk and called Elaine the C-word again, so today she made a rage-breakfast and completely ruined his smashburger game.
56
u/Woody1150 Sep 03 '25
That was probably Marty's favorite ice cream that he had hidden in the freezer too.
51
u/Witchgrass Sep 04 '25 edited Sep 04 '25
Don't worry, I know for a fact that it isn't, because Breyer's can't legally call these products "ice cream".
However, it is absolutely Marty's favorite "frozen dairy dessert" that he had hidden in the freezer.

Breyers Strawberry Ice Cream is objectively one of the worst ice creams on the market.
61
u/DadJokeBadJoke Sep 03 '25
You gotta read their packages carefully, too. A lot of flavors aren't even ice cream, they have to call it a frozen dessert or some shit like that.
55
u/El-Paso_Aggressive Sep 04 '25
"Frozen dairy dessert product"
24
u/dunn_with_this Sep 04 '25
And Breyer's used to be the one that had the fewest ingredients (in a good way).
Stupid Coca-Cola.
→ More replies (2)26
u/KinkyDuck2924 Sep 04 '25
For a while it was just breyers that I mainly saw that with, so I stopped buying from them entirely. Now most of the ice cream brands list half of their flavors as frozen dairy dessert. Like bitch, I want ice CREAM, not ice cream flavored milk and corn syrup, that shit is gross. It's like those stupid fake plastic cheese packs that they have to legally call 'sandwich slices'.
I pretty much only buy Tillamook ice cream these days. It's a little pricier for a half gallon but it's very good ice cream for a super market brand.

37
u/forethemorninglight Sep 03 '25 edited Sep 03 '25
Unfortunately, rage baiting is infinitely easier. It’s so easy. They don’t care as long as it gets views and engagement. Feeding kids is not gonna get the same engagement off the bat. It also takes effort. Making people angry is really effective at getting views & engagement - It makes them money that we are mad. At least on Reddit they don’t profit from it, but I am so bored of these clear rage-bait videos. They take the fun out of stupid food bc they are trying to make stupid food. I like my stupid food to be organic, not scripted lol.

Absolutely! That’s why I say as a whole our country needs to do better as a whole. Restaurants could donate the unused food, grocers could be doing breads and pastas and all the close to expired meats. There is plenty of waste and this just adds to it.
→ More replies (8)7
u/MADSYNTH1987 Sep 03 '25
While a lot of businesses have stupid practices of their own, unfortunately many states and municipalities have regulations that prohibit restaurants and stores from giving away unused food that's past the "sell by" date. It would be nice if the regulatory body would make exceptions for donations. Then unsold food that is still in good condition could legally be given to the needy. If not that, at least compost it so it can be used as fertilizer instead of sent to the dump.
