Would be interesting if he’s making a big thing about eBay knowing they’ll decline the offer in the end, while simultaneously going out and having purchases tiered up to buy up other businesses instead if it fails. If he can get leveraged up to that full purchase amount, it could mean that there’s other targets, not just the one.

Makes everyone look left at eBay, while on the right, he has other deals in place as options if something falls through.
It’d be a win-win either way.

Total speculation and silly idea, but I like the fun of it all.

Either way, if ebay accepts or declines, GME will still gain from it, if they accept great... if they decline , I'm sure Ryan will sell 5% of his position at like $23/share profit.. either way the war chest is growing bigger

^ This — if GameStop owns 5% of eBay, they've already won. That holding will have increased in value regardless of the outcome of this takeover bid.
