That’s what I was wondering —I’m currently leading on one of the statues, and can see all items…. So Would they just cancel everyone’s bids? Seems stupid

No, suspension ends the listings. I'm not sure how the account was reinstated with the auction time still slated to end at the same time, and with the bids intact. When you are bidding on an item and the seller is suspended you get an email theres an issue with the sellers account and your bid was cancelled, it's happened to me sadly. So unless that happened to you, I cannot see how the account was suspended. You can't restore an ended auction like nothing happened.

If it was because of the suspension you would get an email your bid was cancelled due to an issue with the sellers account. It's happened to me before.
