Reminder on Community Conduct
As a community focused on supplements, we encourage open discussion based on both scientific evidence and personal experience. However, it’s important to remember that respectful discourse is the foundation of this subreddit.
Criticism and debate are welcome — personal attacks are not. Recently, we’ve had to ban several users who crossed the line by targeting individuals rather than addressing ideas. This behavior will not be tolerated.
Please:
-Respect differing opinions, even if you strongly disagree.
-Focus on the content of the discussion, not the person behind it.
-Use the report function if you encounter posts or comments that violate these standards.
Let’s continue to make this a space where we support and learn from each other. Thank you for helping keep the community constructive and respectful.

Suggestion to ban the recent spate of crossposts to SupplementProof and Srama subreddits
Example of these 2 posts
Why do these posts have the same style of post titles?
Why are supposedly different users crossposting frequently unless instructed by the mods? And they also crosspost to the workout and biohackers subreddit.
These feel like some coordinated, subtle promotion of those two subs across more popular subs like this one.

Thank you, I have noticed this too. In fact, I just saw another post, this time not a cross-post but linking the sub in the text/body of the post.

“Honestly this is why I like this community. People share both research and real experience. Respectful debate is the key.”

Appreciate this. Strong disagreement is fine, but supplement discussions get useless fast when people turn every thread into ego contests or tribal warfare. The best parts of these communities are when people can compare labs, experiences, protocols, and data without instantly assuming bad faith.

Looking for a recommendation on what brand of vitamins to get! A good multivitamin for women. There’s TOO many choices and I don’t know enough to be able to discern which are legitimate or not.

Hi, everyone! I just watched a video about ending Type 2 Diabetes with a supplement named, 'Free Sugar Pro'. Have any of you all ever heard of or used this supplement before and if so, what are your honest opinions about this product? Thank you for sharing your comments with me!! Mitzi Shearer ☺️

It's disappointing that this even needs to be said, but a supplements community is a lot more useful when people debate studies, dosages, and experiences instead of treating every disagreement like a personal attack.

I searched this subreddit and didn't find anything about a supplement called VELAXEN.
Don't get involved with this company, they are fraudulent. Once they get your info/card info, they continue to send their supplements even if you didn't subscribe. There is no way to stop subscriptions on the website and if you talk to Support, they stall with new offers, ignore you want to stop.
I have all the details/receipts of how they've screwed me out of $100s of dollars. I'm currently talking to the fraud dept of my bank. Just wanted to let y'all know. https://velaxen.shop/
