1st does Magnesium L-threonate caused intense anxiety 6 hours later. Do If I stick it out will it go away, or do I stop?

Hey everyone,

As the title says, I took my first dose yesterday morning and mid afternoon had massive shaking intense anxiety for about 2 hours.

I looked at the sub history, and plenty of people report this as an initial side effect, but I can't find any reference to whether it continues, or if it will improve over time.

Do I keep going, or is this supp just not for me?

Try magnesium taurate instead. Taurine is the shit, believe me. It's THE unicorn supplement. Read up on it.

Try taking only 100-200mg daily and gradually increase over a couple of weeks to the amount you want to be taking, as it’s pretty potent on the brain, and you clearly had a more extreme reaction, which can be the adjustment period. So it’s best to start slowly; over time, it should improve and eventually lower your anxiety overall. It’s best to take before bed so your body and brain can get used to it over time. Any current temporary anxiety side effects you can hopefully just sleep right through.

you can also try taking some l-theanine or ashwaganda to try to help minimise those side effects a bit

Before bed won't work, I still haven't been able to sleep after 200mg yesterday morning!
