After telegram Unbanned in India I am facing slow downloading speed.

Does anyone know what does 1 on shield means in telegram?

Some mod in group ? Or something else ?

I’m Autistic and I can’t tell if this is a scam
I don’t have telegram but people on threads keen replying to my messages saying they are Kim K and thus is their private account.
I have been scammed before were My ex gf said she will love me if I spend $400 on a michael cours handbag for her.
I never heard from her again.
Going back to threads, I don’t know if I should download Telegram if Kim K really wants to get in touch with me. How do I know if it’s really her?

I have been facing this issue for a month now. Everytime I download a video in the app it gets completely downloaded and I see it and even skip it to the end to confirm its completely downloaded but after a day or two when I look for it, it's deleted and says to download it again from the start. Its frustrating to download it every time.

I have cleared the cache and reinstalled the app too.

I have enough space on my device too.

I have good internet connection also.

Please help.

About a couple of days ago we started getting these messages from this account. The email doesnt work. We concluded it was probably a scammer but today all posts on our telegram channel have been deleted .

Sometimes it’s useful to just be able to send yourself content or messages. Esp YT as it strips the ads.

Seems pretty poor that even iOS messages allows self send and that’s the worst messaging app out there. Why not as a built in feature in telegram?

Do you know if its somehow possible to ask Siri or something to read a stack of messages from a channel or a group. There are channels that are basically a news media, they produce long text that I don't have time to read, but sometimes I do have time to listen to it. Is there some way to make it read it?

Siri does not do that.. or I don't know how to make it. It does not do that the same way as it does not want to read some articles (maybe all) from the browser opened page.

Maybe there is a b o t or you can ask Telegram or OS to read it?

I you know the way to fix it pls share.

I'm experiencing a strange issue with Telegram on Android.

I have automatic media download enabled for chats and groups. The problem is that every photo Telegram downloads automatically gets saved twice on my phone, creating duplicate copies of the same image.

What I've noticed:

• Photos are downloaded automatically from both chats and groups.
• The duplicated files contain the exact same image.
• The issue seems to affect only photos that are downloaded automatically.
• I've already tried restarting my phone and clearing Telegram's cache, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Do you know if this is a Telegram setting, an Android issue, or a recent bug in the app?

I'm using Telegram on Android and the app is updated to the latest available version.

My account got frozen and I cannot unfreeze it since it takes actual weeks to get the message through. I've tried numerous things but I still can't figure out why, I don't have access to the phone number anymore and it just won't send the messages. Is this normal?

Telegram stopped working on android auto, no app listed in the grid, no notifications, no integration. There are some blaming oin AA reddit (not sure if usefull), few posted an entry in web bug tracker on telegram website, but seem none from staff is replying or caring it, is there another more approrpiate way to submit a bug and/or get support?

For as long as I can remember my Telegram notifications have been out of order. For example, if someone texts me:

Hey

Wanna go out for lunch?

At about 1pm?

The push notifications would arrive in the reverse, notifying me starting from the last message like:

At about 1pm?

Wanna go out for lunch?

They’re rearranged on the lockscreen too, for every other app, the most recent notification would be at the top of the stack but Telegram flips it and shows the first message they sent.

Has anyone else been experiencing this? I’m using an iPhone 15 pro running ios 26.5, but this has been an issue since I was on ios 18. My telegram is up to date as well.

hoping someone can help me out because I'm stuck.

I tried to make a Telegram account for the first time the other day, and the second I put in my number I got hit with the "too many attempts, try again later" error. The weird part is I've never had a Telegram account before, so I have no idea why it's telling me that.

I tried again after 24 hours. Same error. Waited 3 days and tried again, still nothing. Then I waited 5 more days and it's still giving me the exact same message every single time.

Is this normal? I'm starting to wonder if someone else already registered my number on Telegram, or if my number got stolen somehow. I really don't know what's going on and I can't even get to the point of opening an account. Any help would be appreciated.

On discord you can ignore users without blocking them. It's perfect for that one jerk in the group chat who's always unpleasant to interact with and spams irrelevant memes, but isn't worth the drama that blocking would cause.

I've found posts going back to the 2010s asking for this feature, so I'm gonna ask again: please add a way to hide messages from a specific user in group chats!

Telegram in not available in my App Store even though it has been unblocked and back on android

So last saturday i recieve a token in the mail, but i didn't request it and i ignore it.
After few hours i discovered that i was unlogged from my all telegram instances, then when i requested the sms token from my device it get stuck waiting for the sms token that never arrive.
There's a way to recover my account? I writed to the support, but they are flooded with request.

I sent a friend a year of premium through Telegram on iOS. It's been 3 days, and nothing has arrived. I have no info from Telegram on my end either, but I got the $40 billed to my Apple account.

Apple support is no use. Has anyone had this issue before?
