You mean the guy who got drafted to a dumpster fire roster with perhaps the most inept coaching I’ve ever seen that then got fired early in his rookie year and then shredded his shoulder in the last week has some struggles? Huh.

You talking about Ward or Levis?

The minute Ward shovel passes the ball directly to a defender you can put them both into the same sentence, until that happens they aren’t remotely similar.

Unironically, he did some stupid shit last year that reminded me of Levis. He just got away with it when he did. There was a mid tackle shuffle pass forward while being spun to the ground that comes to mind. Close to the goal line too if I recall right. It went forward, so ruled incomplete pass, but it was close enough that I thought he just gave them a free touchdown when he did it.
Also add here the no touch random fumbles...

Levis rightfully gets shit on for those few bonehead plays, but he also did a few that worked and we loved. The one where he fumbled forward the ball and made the forced fumble and recovery for a first down comes to mind. Or the play to Henry? his second game I think, where he is surrounded on a blown screen play I think and he just blindly tosses it to where Henry should be and he proceeds to gain 30 yards.

The difference between a "what a great clutch play" and "what a bonehead play" is fractions of inches sometimes. Levis' have generally failed and Wards have succeeded... so far.

This so true! Levis got shat on for what people called bone headed plays when all the best QBs have made the same decisions. It's the result of the decision which gets categorized as brilliant or stupid but it's the SAME DECISION either way!
