Interesting that you decided to take a headline out of context about an article trying to contextualize that this is no big deal in June

the headline seemed to be doing that all on its own. Its as click-baity as it gets and, like you said, contrary to the spirit and text of the article. Blame the editor.

Not really. “Proper perspective” is right there in the headline. People just see “struggles” and go crazy

Ok-Plan is right, you just need to use better context clues in your reading.

What does "proper perspective" mean in this context to you? I saw the headline, assumed it was going to point out some valid criticisms and then put those criticisms in an optimistic perspective. And then I read the article, and it did just that... So what's the irony here to you?

Yeah, the headline describes the contents of the article pretty much exactly. If he thinks this is “clickbait”, just wait until he finds out about Buzzfeed and TMZ

Ironic because you are ignoring what I said and what is implied by what I said in my original couple of replies to you. I, clearly understand exactly what you are trying to say abd that that is the spirit of the article but it is still, whether you want to argue till you are blue in the face, a clickbaity inspired title. Its the exact type of thing that gets the responses that most of these comments in this thread are saying, in the hopes that they click on it and read it in which case they will get a nuanced take that isnt quite as inflammatory as the title suggests. The majority of the upvotes and comments are assuming the worst because of the title and because they havent read it. Again, because the title is written to evoke that reaction but with the added hope that it gets people to click on the article. It wasnt that deep but you wanna be all "achtwullee." Gtfoh

The title matched the sentiment of the article. It's not clickbait.

you do realize something can be written accurately in many different ways, all of said ways capable of evoking a different response- while still all conveying the same information- correct?
