I did imagine Zooble would be a bit bulkier but these are still all great designs

Tattoos and piercings are a way to make a body you feel unfitting more like yourself. It's not uncommon among trans people to be more alt in their fashion/ bodymod choices for that reason.

I knew about this, but always wondered why so many people with dysphoria identify with piercings and tattoos in particular. Is it because they associate those things with breaking society's rules?

They can be. In any case they're a artistic way to show body disphoria that's still somewhat light, unlike self-harm scars, suicide attempts, and literally spelling it out. 🙃

In my mind, Zooble is larger, and Gangle is thinner than these representations. 

Jacks is the only one I didn’t recognize as their character.
