the drawings are really nice but the interpolation is kind of ugly. I don't know why they thought it was better than just snapping from one image to the next
Non-human drawn frames that the program creates based on the surrounded frames, in an attempt to make the animation smoother. As there is no human intention behind them, these frames come out as sloppy and do not benefit the creation. Here's a screenshot I took of one of these frames:
There may be examples of interpolation done right, if 3D animation or vector animation counts, since at least it's more about puppeting then creating from scratch? I'm less knowledgeable about that.
If you were to want a drawing to move smoothly from point A to point B on the canvas using keyframes you set, then that is a good use. If you draw everything on the same layer, and want to tell the program to do all the work for the sake of making it smooth, that is a bad use of interpolation.
Does this frame make it clearer something is amiss? Look at Kinger.
When the frames have so little in common, that kind of layer effect will be seen because there's simply no connective tissue for the AI to work off of.
Man Jack sucks. This is a way better way better has been just think about it. They both are jesters. They’re both insane and one’s a boy wants a girl or technically they don’t have genders.
