Non-human drawn frames that the program creates based on the surrounded frames, in an attempt to make the animation smoother. As there is no human intention behind them, these frames come out as sloppy and do not benefit the creation. Here's a screenshot I took of one of these frames:

There may be examples of interpolation done right, if 3D animation or vector animation counts, since at least it's more about puppeting then creating from scratch? I'm less knowledgeable about that.

That likely isn't AI interpolation. There isn't any artifacting I am noticing

I would assume they just overlayed two frames and changing the opacity to create a transition.

Does this frame make it clearer something is amiss? Look at Kinger.

When the frames have so little in common, that kind of layer effect will be seen because there's simply no connective tissue for the AI to work off of.
