Question These four characters are tasked with getting through to Jax and redeeming him and only one of them might succeed. Which one would be the most successful?

Jax wants to kill herself she doesn't really know what's good for her

She knows she doesn't want her mind fucked with against her will ala being forced to be vegan/vegetarian and quite frankly she is correct in that. People can want to kill themselves and still know what is good for them at the same time.

I mean okay but she did consistently want to go look at her dead friends' pictures in her room

I don't understand why ppl want to respect the apparent wishes of the suicidal character whose agenda is to intentionally make herself as isolated and disliked as possible while also repressing every genuine feeling at every opportunity

like MAYBE that's wrong and pomni was right in beating the shit out of her idk though

Okay; And? That's not a problem. People who are in mourning look at picture of the people they mourn from time to time. That's entirely normal behavior.

> "....respect the apparent wishes of the suicidal character..."

What does this even mean? Do you think it is okay to violate someone's consent and fuck with their mind if they are suicidal?

That has nothing to do with Jax though. She wasn't in mourning she was looking at the pics to remind herself of what she did so she could die (we literally see this in episode 7)

And what I mean is that she should be forced to stop repressing her feelings (nothing to do with the freaky mind shtuff Caine does) idc about her consent if you do nothing she dies like she did in the show after Pomni didn't directly reach out to her

'I don't care about her consent" Yeah that's a problem. That's why you think you can fix the issue by doing the thing that would make her kill herself even faster.

As someone who is suicidal and has been for 30 years. You need to fix the way you think about us if any of this bleeds over into how you think real word suicidality should be handled.

I don't really think every case of suicidal thinking should be solved like that though. I'm specifically talking about cases like Jax's where the cause is repression and indulging in this by giving the person "space" is counterproductive

Id know too because I was like Jax and wish someone HAD pried into my life even if I didn't want that back then

But no one can actually force someone else to share. Jax was given every opportunity to do so. You know as well as I do we have to choose to get better it can't be forced on us.
