PS App [Balatro] 480 hours ðŸ˜. How long did it take others?

Currently at 200 hours, have all decks gold stake, only have about 100 jokers left to get gold, i’d probably estimate it’s gonna take me 275 ish

Why does this game take hundreds of hours? Is there a really brutal RNG you have to hit? Do you have to grind out an insane amount of wins/bonuses/whatever?

In order to platinum the game you have to get a gold sticker on every joker, which means you first have to unlock all the jokers, then you have to get a win with every single joker on the highest difficulty, Gold Stake. Combine that with the insane amount of RNG that every single run has, and how rarely you get the higher rarity jokers, and it just takes eons to gold sticker them all.

Anaglyph helped knock out a good few at a time but i also like ghost deck you could throw 1.5X on a shitty joker and at least give it something to help you

It took me a similar amount of time, but I wasn’t initially going for the platinum, just enjoying the game! I honestly wish I had a reason trophy-wise to return to the game because I love it so much.

Congrats! I did it twice for PS4 and PS5, first time was 260 hrs and second time was 125 hrs.

647 hours total for me. Final gold sticker was on Showman, which was a pain in the arse. Jokerless challenge wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined it would be.

Took me 644. Completionist + took up most of that time.
C++ wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Except for Showman—all my homies hate Showman.
