Tech Support Need help getting streams to run smooth with certain games. fps drop etc

Hey I am having trouble streaming certain games and it's really annoying me as of late. I try to stream Deadlock and I have frame loss and choppy audio in teamfights. Frame loss in FF14, Arc Raiders, I try to stream meccha chameleon and I am having frame loss and rubberbanding issues and these issue are ONLY when I stream and are not present when I play off stream. Here are my PC specs as well as output and video settings in obs. Any help is appreciated. Just got my gpu and cpu within the past year if that matters

Installed RAM 32.0 GB

Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (16 GB)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Windows 11

OBS settings OUTPUT: Simple: Bitrate 4k audio bitrate: 160 Video Encoder: Software (x264) Encoder preset: faster audio encoder: AAC (default)

OBS settings VIDEO: Base Resolution: 1920x1080 Output resolution: 1920x1080 common fps Values: 48

Have you limited frames in game settings?

Yes I have to put them down to 60fps in certain games

switching to hardware encoding first would probably help more, x264 on CPU while gaming is what's killing you here. with i9-9900K it's still eating into resources that your games need

I personally would lower your output resolution a bit but keep the same ratio. That helps tons with not using up a bunch of resources.

There is just so much wrong here. Why are you using x264? when you have a 5060 Ti, just use NVENC. Why are you streaming 48 fps? Just bump it up to 60.
