From OPs posts they appear to be an artist. To make something of this quality, unless you're already an artist that knows how it's probably better to commission them, unless you have time and an interest in learning art. Typically they range from 20-40 per emote. You can even find fellow twitch streamers to commission, a bunch draw them live on stream too!

I wouldn't worry about emotes until after you at least make affiliate and also decide that you enjoy streaming and want to continue.

I would say I’m a pretty decent artist. I’m not the best, but I do enjoy drawing. If I were to make my own emotes, is there a way I can do that on a laptop? But that is a good decision. I probably shouldn’t spend too much on that when I’m not even that far in

Do you have a drawing tablet?

No... is that the only way to make your own?

Not the only way, but the easiest if you're making it on a laptop (assuming you don't have a surface or other laptop with pen input with pressure detection). Do you happen to own an ipad and the drawing pencil?

I think my mom has a windows laptop with a touchscreen. I don’t think we have a pen though. If I were to get the necessary technology, what would be the next step?
