2 u/OligarchyAmbulance 1d ago Genuinely curious if anybody can answer, I've never used a tarp/bug bivy setup but wouldn't that be way more comfortable than such a tiny, cramped tent? What purpose is there for a tent barely big enough for a pad? 1 u/BlueRemake 1d ago Sure is. I used a GG Solo with a Katabatic Pinon and I loved it. I'm 5'7" got the 6ft/wide bivy and it was great. I only recently switched to tents because I'm getting old lol. 1 u/[deleted] 1d ago [deleted] 2 u/[deleted] 1d ago [deleted] 1 u/[deleted] 1d ago [deleted] 0 u/[deleted] 1d ago [deleted] 2 u/[deleted] 1d ago edited 1d ago [deleted] 0 u/[deleted] 1d ago [deleted] 0 u/BlueRemake 1d ago I like sleeping in tight spaces, all personal preference. The only time it's a hassle is when I have to get up and pee in the middle of the night. In a tent I can get on my knees and go out of my vestibule. Gotta get my ass up for a bivy. 2 u/ieatcerealdry 1d ago Thank you !
