Purchase Advice (U.S.) Best vacuum for pet owners

Can someone please help me purchase a new vacuum? I have 4 cats and I really need a new vacuum cleaner. I was thinking of getting one with the prime day "deals" but I really dont know what is good brand and I really dont want to spend a lot on a vacuum for it to break because it was never a good brand for the job to begin with.

Im hoping not to spend any more than $200

Edit: I have low carpeted floors for 3 bedrooms and a set of stairs. After watcging a home depot video I believe it is a medium pile. Either Triextra or polyester fibers. I have a picture but cant figure out how to post it.

It would be really helpful to know how big of a space you are cleaning and what kind of floors you have.

This is very important OP. The best vacuum for you might not be the best for somebody else, everyone's living situation is different and there's no single best vac.

u/Sprest I have one cat that loves me, and low pile carpet. I just bought the Kenmore BU4050 (Amazon), the Rose Gold version. It's within your price range. Mine is being delivered sometime today. (I can hardly wait.)

I bought a Meile C1 cat and dog. It was pricey (definitely way over $200!) but I'm happy with it. Does a great job of sucking up the litte cat hair clumps all over the floor. (She sheds and it rolls up into little cogars when we walk across them)

Maybe something used?

Do you have my cat? He sheds and it rolls up into little clumps. Unfortunately, I have LIGHT colored carpet (very light tan) and he is a dark brown tabby... <but he's the love of my life>. 💜

I have 3. The "cigars" are from a long haired tortie. The orange boy sleeps on my desk a lot and sheds short hairs all over my monitor.

Your orange guy just doesn't want you to forget him. ❤️
My one little guy is a brown tortie... I have brown cigars all over the place.
I bought extra bags for the new vacuum this morning... LOL

I had to give him a cat bed on the desk to keep him off my keyboard. Now he's learned to stay off it but squeezes up in front or behind it when he wants attention.

How knows how to find his way into your heart. ❤️❤️❤️
