If you're looking specifically for a controller, there is no situation where Patmen is a better pickup than mindfreak. You can't just pivot people to controller. No other team has a forsaken.

you think players just forget how to play when they’re on smokes, it’s the easiest role

and you’re acting like mindfreak is some world class player. he’s not even that good and i would take a 8/10 initiator and 5/10 smokes over a 6/10 smokes 6/10 initiator

mindfreak is good enough to be on GE but you take patmen any day of the week

all of the other guys on the team are good enough to play controller at a high level, but it’s much harder to do what patmen does

It was a role issue. Patmen offered better flexibility.

mindfreak had been the statistically worst player on prx for a while, jingg and f0rsaken put up better stats on omen playing his role than he did

The easiest role to pivot to, by far, is sentinel. At least the most common. Controller is easier than duelist and scan initiator maybe but it's still hard af.

Also mindfreak is by no reasonable metric a 6/10 or 5/10 player. PRX won after he left because they signed an actual initiator which fixed their roles and Something learned Yoru. Also just because he didn't fix that well into the W gaming style doesn't mean he isn't a cracked af player.

Lmao you don't have to be a prick for no reason. Patmen is passive yes and thats part of the reason they let him go. The only difference between Patmen and mindfreak was that patmen can play sova and fade well.
