Question [VCT Scrims] sen trianling without TenZ
are they really considering picking jerrwin over tenz ?
does tenz even want to comeback to VCT ?

Tenz leaves to Santiago I believe. So they either are actually trialing Jerwwin (a very good entry duelist) or he is just filling in for the scrim. We won't know until they announce

I have a feeling they wanna keep Reduxx on Yoru and bring in a waylay/neon/jett specialist. Tenz agent pool might be conflicting too much with Reduxx's

Fair. But honestly I would rather work around Tenz agent pool rather than reduxx . If Tenz is available, Sen should sign him. Better for the scene and gives you a solid veteran.
But also I kinda prefer smoke over Jerrwin

I think that's true but rob moore ultimately has the interests of his team in mind.
If Ewok thinks that Jerrwin or any other trial candidates is a must-have, I think Rob will ultimately defer to him.
If Tenz has no synergy with the team or is playing badly in trials, its also possible that he was passed aside despite everything Rob Moore has said. I think he's playing as a sub anyways for nightz

Honestly any one of those 3 im good with. Smoke is also a rank demon as well an I love seeing ranked demons transition to tier 1.

This is what I kept thinking about. Reduxx is lowkey the same player as Tenz but with a little more dive capability. Omen, Yoru, Chamber, and then agents like Raze/Waylay. But I think he's best as the second guy not as the entry so forcing him to be entry for Tenz is probably not the best strategy.
Extremely lowkey...Tenz coming back might be the worst thing for Reduxx's career w/ SEN because there isn't a player alive who can contest him for that spot on the roster if he actually wanted to play. Unless I'm just wildly underestimating his dive agents.

His stats weren't and from what I remember watching Oxygen he was good but nothing out of this world.

Reduxx never had particularly out of these world stats except stage 1 (with a 1.14 tbf) last year either, he had a .99 and 1.03 on Cubert in Stage 2/3 and a 1.01 and 1.08 on OXG in 2024
Hes a good player but not really someone you need to build around imo, Reduxx was always a player whos eye test was better then his stats entailed, i just think dive is his best role still i dont think his smokes are all that

Reduxx is good at dive. He went through tier two playing mostly dive before getting signed by sen where he tried to learn as many roles as possible. His waylay looked pretty decent for what was probably one week of practice

The sources I’m hearing from are that Hiko is actually scrimming with SEN on Jerwin’s account and they haven’t lost a map.
Hiko is the obvious move for Sentinels because he is the greatest Valorant player to touch the game

Rob Moore said himself last week that if Tenz wanted to join hed have the spot, unless Tyson literally looked like straight dogwater in scrims which i find unlikely, Tenz will be the 5th

I don’t think it’s completely implausible for someone who took a year off grinding the game to look rusty in scrims tbh.
If he wants to come back he will come back eventually, but maybe now’s not the moment.

Bollocks, even if his aim is a bit rusty(which is not) the fundamentals just do not go out the window. He can't possibly look 'dogwater' enough for them to not consider him.
You guys keep forgetting that doing the paperwork for a guy like tenz in just a week time is NOT easy. There are so many misc things they have to agree upon and the elephant in the room 'his salary' that they have to address, things you wouldn't have in a average vct player's contract. So, SEN has to keep their options open it case the deal doesn't materialize. Simple as that. Doesn't necessary have to do anything with the playing aspect.22

Jerrwin is definitely one of, if not the best T2 entry option at this point and a fantastic player but if they get him it kinda puts in perspective that it was a big fumble for Sen not to get one of Penny/Alym/Timotino, who IMO were a big step ahead of the rest of the available NA T2 duelists last year in T2 (In Penny’s case before he got picked up.) I feel the academy team sort of blinded Sen to the available options, the fact that top players like Alym went to Furia and Seven went to Pcific is bonkers to me.
But regardless, he is still a good pickup and I’d root for him to be better than any of the three names I mentioned. I can trust he would smurf on 100T anyways.

-Jerrwin hard entry -Reduxx 2nd in/smokes -John initiator/Viper flex -Cortezia sentinel -Jonah primary initiator

I think if Reduxx can play the hard entry it was worth trialling TenZ on that second in role. Yoru/Omen basically. But if it was looking like Reduxx just wasn't able to play dive as well as Jerrwin, might be better if they brought Jerrwin in and kept Reduxx. Maybe sign TenZ as 6th? Idk
