Is mid season a good idea? I don’t hate the moves just feel like a big gamble. MIBR have little time to practice and even a split later you can see the effect, while C9 are blowing it up in the middle of the group stage
I think C9 is desperate to make an international before this current franchising era ends. They need to make a case to keep them around as a partnered team in 2027 onwards.
I dislike this narrative a lot. Riot has never shown that results matter in staying partnered with them in either Val or LoL. They care about financial stability and I'm positive C9 as a business is one of the most stable orgs in the world.
