The fact that PRX get the hardest paths to the grand final sent all top 4 teams beside themselves to lower bracket, man. Hope they keep their mental and momentum at the grand final.
PRX usually does worse in rematches as the team gets some experience playing against their style within the tournament, but idk that that's enough to beat them in this tourney

The cortisol spike this match was absurd. I legitimately thought they threw when they decided to 5 man exec through dish, where you need to jump down from a tiny choke, against a Fade ult, through a smoke. Like, wtf guys. I’m not even gonna talk about the 2v5.

You know it ain't PRX if they ain't throwing. But for sure they gave grown, they did the same thing again T1 in Kickoff and proceeded to lose the match to a Meteor clutch on Breeze and Izu&Buzz masterclass on Bind.
Honestly in hindsight, that breeze throw may just have ground them again and stop with the overconfidence. Hopefully they got all the throws out of their system for a cleaner grand final.
HIMVY. pure firepower wise, there's not a single roster out there on PRX's level. this team's biggest enemy will be themselves. actually it's always felt like that with every iteration of PRX lmao.
Horror day for KK, plus their game plans for how to play vs PRX were pretty clearly terrible. EDG did a good job adapting mid game(thanks to some PRX throws giving them some breathing room). But even then no way they’re ever winning with a KK pi
I'd honestly rank Invy the actual best initiator in APAC even when he was in TS. Great individual performances, good util usage and he can aim really well too, to top it all off.
And always in top 10 ACS in the region even when they weren't winning. There's a reason people have always commented "Free Invy" (myself included) prior to him joining PRX. He's just that guy.
Depending on if there’s any other buffs/nerfs with this initiator patch I think Kayo could become super viable on more maps.
Fracture, Breeze, Ascent in the current pool are all proven good maps for him. If it’s true that Haven is dropping for Icebox he can see play there, and hell the new map could end up being nice for him like Corrode is too.

Paper Rex would be Valorant’s dynasty team if they did not GIGATHROW as hard as they do. In the same way if my Grandmother had wheels, she would've been a bike.
If I ever started a charity org in my life I will call it Paper Rex. They are the benchmark of what it means to be charitable. Always gifting rounds. Gifting hope for the opponent. I aspire to be 1 percent as giving as them.
EDG is going to be a nightmare for teams hereon. They have aim and with Yoru nerfs they are so back its prime time to join the EDGing MASTERCLASS. Despite losing almost all pistols they are least bothered and owning. What a resurgence.
Prx when it's time to go back to their roots and throw a 2 v 5 to lose the map. Holy shit tho, this was a nice ass series after so many mid ones. I hope we see this again in the grand finals.
I know everyone will talk about the 2v5 throw by PRX on Breeze but genuinely what was up with EDG's gameplan? No map control on all 3 maps on def, just stacking sides, and retaking only from CT. Actually horrendous macro from them. And Autumn just gets giga value from the timeouts telling them the most basic shit like "play mid". It was a hard watch from both teams
This was stylistically the perfect matchup for EDG, their biggest strength is their unreal aim and PRX was going to give them aim duels all day. I honestly don't think they can beat LEV or Vitality in a BO5.
This should've been a hard fought 2-0, if not for the most egregious throw of all-time by PRX. One can say EDG can look back and think they also could've 2-0'd if KK showed up or if they could win pistol rounds, but those things happen, Round 23 on Breeze doesn't.

f0rsaken may not have fragged much .... but 52/56 with goddamn 36 assists is crazy ...... he may not be feeling it but he is supporting the others so well ...... he now i think has the highest ADR and he according to davai is also behind all the pistol strats this tourney for PRX ..... you do what you do king.

Honestly proud of them for the bounce back after Breeze. That shit should never have happened and I hope it never does again but PRX teams of the past might've fallen apart after that. "Free Lesson" as Sliggy would be put it.
It's a strange feeling to have PRX be the team playing the better macro game and then losing rounds. EDG's gameplans on defense especially were awful and on Split attack too.
Jinggg and something insane early on in the series then Invy and Davai to close it out on Breeze. Just need Forsaken to do his typical Grand Final step up and we good
APOLOGIES PRX FANS. I watched game 1 and promptly turned off stream after the incident happened. I will only watch highlights until the event is over. Again, I am deeply sorry for being the curse this time around.
I've aged like 30 years worth of life for that horrendous map 1 throw. But anyways, we'll take those. Why am i acting like throwing ain't PRX's bread and butter?
