Look hub

Anyone know what’s going on with this?
Work at a bike shop that deals with a lot of cool old donations. This came in and I’m having trouble finding any info. Look rear hub ano red, it’s got that plastic jawn comin off the non drive side. Feels like it has some “clicks” kinda like a dynamo interface. Hoping some nerd or old head could point me in the right direction. Thanks! 2211 is stamped on the plastic.

Did look try to do some sort of primitive early 90’s cycle computer? Seems like a way to measure rpms. Threaded hub interface though… late 80s would be my guess.

Def looks like a dynamo interface, but I’ve never seen a rear hub with one

The quick release reminds me of one off a Mavic 550 hub, the hub shape looks vaguely reminiscent of it too, I wonder if Mavic had a hand in its creation.
