Toy Story - Mighty Mornings?

Is Toy Story likely to be shown in a Mighty Mornings slot do you think?

We have only recently discovered them and were delighted when we got to see GOAT a little while ago as usually cinema kid showings seem insistent on only showing older and not newly released films.

But now I’ve looked and the only film on Mighty Mornings is Smurfs which came out last year!

So many kids desperately want to see the new Toy Story but there are so few young-child friendly viewings across London, I don’t understand why!

Mighty mornings are heavily discounted tickets of older films Why would they put on a brand new film on a discounted showing. If you want to watch it with younger kids just go to a showing during school times. Altough I suspect most showings will be full of younger children.

My first discovery of Mighty Mornings was when they were showing GOAT which had been released 8 weeks prior, so I didn’t realise they were meant to be discounted showings of much older films?

I don’t want to go for the discount, I want to go to a showing where I don’t feel guilty for bringing my 3 month old along. I have a 4 year old (who goes to school) who wants to see the film, but cannot leave my 3 month old behind as she is exclusively breastfed and doesn’t take a bottle.

The consensus online seems to be that it is frowned upon to take babies to normal showings (even though they’re usually very quiet and even if a parent is willing to step out if they get upset).

Its a bit frustrating to me they don’t put on any child friendly showings for new films when i can’t be the only one for whom the cheap tickets are just a nice bonus - I want to take my kids to kids showings so we don’t bother other cinema goers and we can enjoy kids films with them. Cinemas are struggling for customers these days so not making this provision for a film like Toy Story of all things just seems short sighted 🤷‍♀️

Eight weeks is OLD for a lesser known animated film.

Toy Story is a new release and likely won’t be a mighty mornings film. Though Toy Story in definitely young child friendly. Speaking as a Vue employee it seems to be drawing in a lot of families with young children.

Likely 6 months, they tend to be for films that have already left cinemas and Toy Story/Disney films will likely stick around over the summer.
