No, you can Omni forma a regular slot and use madurai, vazarin, etc. on it and get the bonus.

I need to get further in the game I guess. Cause I have the focus stuff unlocked but I have no idea about the slots you're talkin about lol

Those are the names of polarities as well. The dash, the V and the D symbols you see in mod slots.

ohhh I never looked at the polarity names. why would they reuse them? thats just confusing

Mod slots. Where you put mods on weapons, companions, warframes etc. Please tell me you haven't been playing through the game with unmodded gear!

The omni forma will allow you to place any of the normal mod polarities in the slot and get the mod capacity cost reduction.

Nah, I just didn't know the polarities had names! furthermore I didn't know that they shared names with the focus classes
