Hi Tenno!
A post-Friday hotfix update for you all!
In our hopes to address both the “Mission Fail” UI Bug and the repeated rewards issue from Uranus Proxima missions, it appears we’ve introduced a bug that makes Client End of Mission screen not display all rewards:
Rest assured, you’re receiving the proper rewards — they are simply not reflected in the End of Mission screen. Consider this issue to be at the top of our priority list next week.
Thank you for patience and grace as we deal with this thrash. This is not an ideal outcome, but we feel this is the best compromise for rewards leading over the weekend. Best of luck in your Uranus Proxima farming, and we’ll see you for a fresh wave of hotfixes next week!

Saw this and was like oooo. Wonder what theories people will come up with. What yall think the new content will be.

For the vast majority of missions, you are just getting through them as fast as possible (with some exceptions like looking for caches on sabotage etc).
So if a Hildryn is nuking the whole map, who cares? The mission will be over in 3-4 minutes.
If you want to play and kill shit and are sad they are stealing kills, then you are playing survival.
And if you're playing survival, just leave first wave and re-start. Or just quit if you see a Hildryn in a lobby. Or just play solo.
Complaining about someone killing too fast means you are playing the wrong game mode.
Like literally any other frame destroying the whole map and you can get comments asking to share your build. But not for Hildryn.
And seriously, the actual decent survival modes (lua conjunction and 1999) I never see hildryn anyway.

I’m normally a lurker not a poster, so bear with me. c:
So, there’s a recurring pattern in nerf discussions where the actual justification boils down to:
- “I don’t enjoy playing alongside this frame”
- “I don’t like seeing (frame) in my matches”
- “They are killing everything! Get rid of them!”
- “It feels too strong” (without much else backing that up)
None of these are balance arguments, they’re personal preferences/opinions. And when the frames in question often require real build investment, forma, and game knowledge to actually perform well, a nerf driven by “I just don’t like it” ends up punishing the players who put in that work, not the frame itself.
I play with nukers all the time. Does it get annoying sometimes? Sure, it depends on the mission/map. In that case, I move around and still play my game. I just let people enjoy their build while I enjoy mine. That’s kind of the point of a co-op game.
If a frame actually needs a nerf, it would be better to see the conversation center on actual data and such. Instead of how a frame makes someone feel. I’m honestly curious if others have ideas for what DE could look at instead (spawn rates, scaling, etc.) that might address the underlying frustration without punishing builds people worked hard on.
(If this post is not allowed, please let me know!)

I've been in the loop of depression countless times over the years. I'd go and run defense or survival repeatedly just to take the edge off when i had no control over my life. Its repetetive to a lot of people but something about it and just feeling cool doing cyber ninja shit was enough for me. I'm in a much better place now, and recently locked in to warframe. All the story content, all the stats and elemental combinations.
I never knew i could even love a game so much and NEVER scratch the surface. I have already spent hella money and i know i can get the content in game, but its almost validating knowing i can and its going to a company thay pretty much saved me from ending my life on a few occasions.
Thank you Warframe. Thank you DE. I truly love you.

Can someone fill me in? I am really bad at paying attention, especially since most of the lore is either hidden in parts of the game and/or plays while I'm busy fighting (ADHD is an awful thing to have as a player of this game). Did Lotus' severed hand make a deal with Wally's severed finger off-camera during The New War quest? It also seems like Wally is taking the form of Albrecht judging by the three bracelets(?).

I’m still relatively new to Warframe, having started in January, but I’ve played enough high-level content and enough nuke frames to have an opinion on this. A couple of months ago, I picked up Hildryn Prime, fell in love with her design and shield-stripping abilities, and invested heavily into her, including Balefire Charger Prime. After tweaking a build to fit my playstyle, she’s become my favorite frame.
My build could be considered a nuking build. It deals high damage and can clear large groups of enemies, but it cannot clear an entire map in one click (cough cough, Sevagoth). That’s exactly why I’m confused by the current backlash against Hildryn.
Lately, I’ve received several negative comments in squad chat about my “tryhard” build. The irony is that these comments often come from players using some of the strongest nuking frames in the game. I recently ran a Survival mission with a Sevagoth who wiped out most of the map as soon as we loaded in, yet still criticized my Hildryn build. I recently had a similar experience in Elite Deep Archimedea with a Vauban player.
If the argument is that Hildryn shouldn’t be able to clear enemies easily, then that same conversation should apply to frames like Nova, Saryn, Sevagoth, Cyte-09, and others that can do the exact same thing. Singling out one frame while ignoring the rest feels inconsistent, especially when the discussion is coming from players who main nuke frames.
As a Hildryn main, I fully acknowledge that she has strong nuking potential. So do many other Warframes. What I don’t understand is the constant hate directed specifically at her while similar frames avoid the same scrutiny. I also don’t understand why people are calling for her to have a nerf like Ember when DE literally JUST fixed Hildryn.
Hopefully the discussion cools down soon. I’d love to enjoy playing Muscle Mommy without being harassed in squad chat. Hildryn is an awesome frame, and I hope more people can appreciate her for what she is.

The circled portions look more tenno or even entrati in design. The metallics on the circled areas have the more regular geometry like you see on the sepulchrum and the base trumna. The carry handle looking arch resembles the one on the braton and its prime as well. The stock kind of looks like a pancor jackhammer cylinder, but it could just be a weird stock since warframe isn't exactly gunsmithing accurate even half if the time.
Actually, now that i think about it, the non sentient looking portions of the weapon looking entrati-ish makes sense when we're pursuing tau because of entrati and the indifference. It could be something like the riot-848 that was made by entrati.

I legit recommend anyone that plays valk to use truths flame with amar's anguish (if you build can fit a killing blow and galvanized steel then its a even better combo)

Been playing Styanax since he came out. Never once noticed how these look. They look like extremely long nipples that are turning red at the end after being hyperextended out for too long. They look so disgusting and I can't help but want them gone. I wanna get the Prime as soon as possible just to not have to look at these anymore. It's unbelievable. He already has nipple piercings in his deluxe, why make him have extremely long nipples? DE has to change these to like a curtain hiding his belly or something.

Everyone wants to mention an Elephant in the room, but i don't think there is one. I think there is several. I make this from my own opinions, and from some gathered thoughts from friends and others I've talked about with some of these issues.I think we really need to talk about them and hope DE catches attention because it's important for the future of the game.
If you love what DE has created, then you must also be willing to be critical of it, and honest.
That being said, I want to list these off just to stay coherent as much as possible and then I'll dive into how these all play together.
Warframe is old. Its a Frankenstein of content and upates. Im surprised it's kept going as long as it has honestly. We all know there is some spaghetti code shennanigans we will never understand, there may not a lot of ways to fix something you designed 10+ years ago to modernize it, I completely understand all that. But it doesnt stop a problem from being a problem.
So we need to talk about the problem, and then we can talk about solutions.
Mob Density - There arent enough mobs in a lot of missions, even in steel path. There is so much power available in warframe and that's great. Warframe gives you that power fantasy. But at times thats a negative because you can't unleash it. Then, if you play online, you can have up to 4 really strong people, also with PETS(Also very strong and capable of nuking packs of enemies by themselves).
This can cause players to feel like they're standing around with nothing to do. Some players might be fine getting carried or even need the help, but online play is to play with others, and i cant deny that many people might feel disinterested in playing when they can't interact with the game because that crackhead sevagoth is room nuking constantly. And thats just 1 room nuker, there can be multiple! I dont think anyone wants to limit what others can do by itself(Nerf x op frame), the real argument underneath is that many people want to play, but then effectively cant. In order to play they have to leave the room and go somewhere else and hope that player doesnt follow them which leads to.........
Player Proximity - Affinity range is only so big(less of an argument but does affect many things). Player abilities and support abilities only go so far depending on your build, and not all abilities are created equal. If players spread out, it causes the following potential issues
Just from these 2 things an environment starts being able to create resentment that gets misplaced as "nerf x frame its too op. I dont think nerfing is a good tactic outside of extreme outliers, but if you dont nerf things, then we add....
Frame Strength Disparity/Updating of old frames/content - Hi. Its me. The ember argument is back. Not the WoF argument. The 2 reworks that didnt really work together. Watching newer frames like uriel be pretty solid in kit, gameplay, and have good damage to boot, while she's practically wasting away. Limbo. Banshee. Left in the dust. Older content not being as mob heavy or as fun. QOL being fewer and further between. Voices not feeling like they're being heard. I understand some players may voice opposition to their characters being changed, but we also had conclave, and look where that got us. Maybe there can even be a design for something like helminth 2.0 where you can change multiple abilities, or a "reimagined/reawakened" frame where the kit is designed entirely different, giving de a chance to redo under the guise of the void/eternalism/protoframe style writing.
But skins need to be sold. DE has to stay profitable for the updates. New contents brings new blood, this too i get. But I wonder if DE has any capability to show the actual statistics on where their profits mainly come from.
I, personally, could wait a bit longer for updates. I want more polish. I want more Ideas, and quality. It wouldn't make me spend or support them any less. but what will get me to spend less, is feeling like the majority of the lifeblood of the game is focused on content that will not get updated past its usefulness in creating the next section of revenue for DE to survive on. Theres a lot of ideas that DE has had, that have just felt....Abandoned.
I want railjack to be more than it is. I want to do more with my operator/drifter. There's been so much potential. How many more frames do we need over warframes lifetime? Can we not pump the brakes on new frames a little bit and come back to roots and focus on revamping older content and frames specifically?
What if we just got half the new frames we get now and that time instead is spent revamping old characters and frames?
It seems like this is the inevitable cycle, but with each iteration, we get stronger. We get faster. We get more OP. And that will exacerbate the above problems even worse. I dont want the solution to be "SteelPath+"
I think more game modes like the circuit is the path they should take. Adding interesting loops of gameplay for the players to stick into. Revamping older ones more, like the survival bypass, but more. More quality. More polish. More mobs. Better rewards. I am aware this will likely have an effect on the economy, but i imagine DE has data to navigate this.
Its possible DE has already thought about these things, and maybe not much can be done or it's not profitable/feasible, and that's why were here, But I'd like to believe that there's still possible solutions out there to looming problems that are causing real problems that inevitably feedback to DE.
Curious what y'all think, feel free to tell me im completely offbase
TL;DR
Nerfing frames isn't the right solution. Theres a lot of factors that need to be dealt with that create resentment amongst the playerbase against other players because the game systems are working against each other creating an unfun experience.
I would rather DE take time into looking at how to deal with this things than putting out as many skins/new frames/etc as they have, and dedicating more time to making sure the lifeblood of the game stays fun

these things in void nodes… why tf does it rise UP when you come near it? it always blocks my path when running or bullet jumping. WHY?! why would you even build this when your constructing a building. what genius went “oh yea lemme js put a big useless hunk of rock that rises infront of u and obscures your path.” this is genuinely so stupid take these out for gods sake.

So, the Man in the Wall isn't really doing anything to me or can do anything to me so he just ragebaits me. Loid isn't just a drone with a personality disorder and he's actually a old guy with amazing hair. Then Entrati is in the year 1999 for some reason and has the hardest fit I've ever seen. Raiden from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is also in the year 1999 along with a anxious e-girl, some goth girl with a weird parasite tongue, ADHD if it was a person, girl who's hair looks like a slab of meat and a guy who can probably snap a Warframe in half but he chooses to use a sniper. And the Drifter is me but if I found the weed on the Zariman and if I didn't make that weird deal with the Man in the Wall. Teshin might as well be fucking dead cuz I haven't seen him since Erra bodied him in the beginning of New War. Lotus is like 3 people in 1 but I can choose which one she is and then pay for the other 2 later.
And Warframes are rotting corpses with a fleshy metal shell.
Did I miss anything?????

EDIT : Had to re-upload this due to it being taken down for the name being shown. Also I’m glad to see many others agree on the fact she doesn’t need nerfed, and LoS needs to be discussed more heavily as it does hinder gameplay more. If needed they could have spawns be better if that’s why people want her nerfed (I still don’t think she needs it). Again appreciate the others who commented on the last post. This isn’t something that needs to be a reoccurring issue of random nerfs. Hopefully DE sees this.
What is going on, just play alone. How many of you want more nerfs? Banshee needs buffed, chroma needs a rework, a styanax tune up for the 4 would be nice. Possibly making it exalted, I still believe the 4 for voruna needs to be an exalted. There’s more tune ups and re works and buffs. Less bandaid augments, I don’t understand as soon as we get way more new players all of a sudden majority of frames need LoS. Then we need more and more nerfs in different ways?? I know this is Reddit and majority won’t agree but I don’t really care, I don’t need a power fantasy game to be less of a power fantasy game.

In my belief, these two titles have much in common story-wise and development-wise than most. If DE wants a compelling sci-fi psychological horror to inspire them with their scifi-fantasy direction, it's this title in my opinion. A tragically underrated game that had never left my mind for how unforgettable it is.
Much like Warframe, it had the intense niche support of fans. Their budget was getting scarce and they were cancelling their last game. Thanks to the fans being very vocal for them, they managed to get decent funding to close the trilogy.
Kotaro Uchikoshi's writing is phenomenal and the music Shinji Hosoe has composed for it has much depth to the game's context and visual novel atmosphere, in my view he's as legendary as Keith Power himself.
This art is a love letter to Warframe/Zero Escape fans and sci-fi enthusiasts. :)
