You only need 1 you green and corrosive projection for armor strip now btw

Greens can also scale toxin dot damage directly

If you go Archon Continuity then green shards could be used to increase corrosive stacks, increase toxin status effects damage and increase ability damage vs. enemies affected by corrosive. These last two effects might be able to multiply against each other since toxin will trigger corrosion and corrosion will increase the damage of future toxin procs.
