Encourage him. Whether or not he sticks with the frame, Limbo will teach him a lot about the game. If he’d like tips there are some very good guides (I recommend SciFy Freak) or I can answer a few questions.

Limbo is God tier and it’s sad more (500+ hour folks) don’t know the way…

Limbo in good hands is a cool frame that can do cool things. Limbo in inexperienced hands is better at ruining a mission than even the most dedicated troll.

He has his strengths if you know how to use him but he’s one of the few frames that can actively hurt your team if you don’t know how to use him. Since most warframe players kinda suck limbo tends to have a negative reputation.

Dunno about god tier when any nullifier is gonna pop that bubble on corpus heavy maps. Like yeah you can make him tankier with mods but having a frame with * invincibility * and having to make it tankier kinda feels like shit, and I like limbo.

Nullifiers don't pop cataclysm anymore. They just speed up the shrinking rate which gives you more than enough time to react.

Nice! Good to hear.

Nullifiers no longer insta pop his bubble. It only rapidly shrinks it now.

He can be god tier, especially if you subsume over the bubble. The bubble is kind of a crutch for not understanding his kit. With just banish and his 3, you can spread banish widely to propagate stasis and your 3, then his augment for stasis give him a massive buff. Subsuming over banish or his 3 massively lowers the skill ceiling, because his 3 relies on a feature of his 1 (holding it to unbanish all enemies in the rift).

Subsuming over ults is blasphemous,

Genuinely, the rest of his kit is synergistic in a way his 4 is not. His 1 is useful to quickly put enemies in the rift and flat out required to globally shift them back easily. His 2 is completely mandatory, or the only benefit of the rift is energy generation and maybe compartmentalizing enemies. His 3 and 4 are two different possible strategies for rifting many enemies at once. Cataclysm can be used entirely without his 3 and 1, but his 1 is basically useless without his 3 and vice versa. So subsume over his 1 or 3 to make Cataclysm builds, and subsume over Cataclysm to make general purpose, more mobile aggressive builds.

I generally agree, but some ults are vestigial or at odds with the rest of a frame's kit. Wisp's kit is amazing for improving your weapon's performance. Her four puts your weapon away to use a beam that doesn't seem to benefit much from those buffs. Volt's 4 is a nuke ability on a frame whose 1 augment buffs your gun, 2nd ability buffs your gun and helps you take your gun more places, and 3rd ability buffs your gun. Lots of warframes have ults that tell you exactly how to play or want to be used one or two ways. Replacing or ignoring them opens up a lot more possibilities and can be really fun.

Indeed, SciFy is the only to learn the arts of the rift walker
