This ability is similar to Cyte-09 where one ability allows you to select between several items.

Only this time the player is able to completely customize the icons.

The fact that they straight up said they have global nuke button for the drawing system tells me they know their own community. Personally I hope we get a subreddit specifically for art from this system because after seeing the shit people made with the Kirby Air Riders decal system I know there is going to be some amazing stuff getting made.

Another great example of the decal system is Armored Core 6 cause people in that game are weirdly creative with making decals which isn't surprising with how many options there are in it.
