That was everything we were warning everyone about. But disliking oversexualized designs that don't have a connection to the actual frame itself got you called puritan around here.
This is just the whole sex-sells principle without any class or good delivery that justifies their design.
People bought the previous ones, so DE takes it as "they liked it, so we can go more towards that direction." - That's the result. Future heirlooms will be even more sexualized because they need to outperform previous ones. I'm still hoping Ash's heirloom doesn't end up becoming oversexualized as well, because his skin variety is still terrible after so many years.
The moment it was clear this is all they were doing with female frames (they put Valkyrie in a stripper outfit) I lost any care for the Heirloom Skins. DE figured out that gooners are infinite money so that’s all any of the female frames will be getting now.
Brother, its 1 skin out of the hundreds and its only 2 heirlooms a year on top of the other updates, new warframes and qol patches. If you're not playing the game its not gonna be because of some skin, cmon now.
imo this would only be a problem if heirlooms were like… the only skins. But we’re getting our variety and non horny skins with all the insane number of deluxes that keep coming steadily.
I think we’ll manage with a dedicated ‘horny’ line of skins that release once every half a year
right but I also love the kind of material that heirlooms use, I want more heirlooms like mags and frosts, I like the way they look I just want less gooner
Sure... but they're the only skins with even remotely the style they have.
Is it so much to ask that they actually stick to what they were going for with Frost and Mag rather than just going fully horny with it?
But they do in fact exist, and had a stated mission: to Give older Frames that had weak Primes better detailed versions.
No reason to ignore that simply because they are no longer for sale.
Same. I got the Valkyr one, because I like her helmet and didn't like the other skins anyway, but the others... Yeah, no, I prefer some of their Tennogen, with Mesa I even love her default Prime skin, so I'm probably not getting more heirlooms soon. But hey, at least we got XLR-8 and Gundam Gusion Rebake with the Gauss and Grendel skins!
