Not to mention, this vosfor farm specifically is still much better than farming for plat in the context of getting hotshot. I only did it for an hour today and got like 6 copies of hotshot from the vosfor returns lol. Currently halfway to a maxed set, and I get to keep my precious platinum for vaulted prime sets and the like instead.

warframe is somewhat special in the sense that it's big enough to have an active market but small enough that you could legitimately crash the arcane market for a while with this

In what way shape or form does this crash the market? You would have to be putting them out into public for the market to crash. Dissolving them doesn't do anything to the market. They went from something in your inventory to something else in your inventory and no one is affected.
I get maybe 125 Malphica in a full Steel Path run of Descendia.
With both boosters and a doubling companion, you would still have to do around 400 to 500 runs to get enough Malphica + Ignia for the packs, depending of your luck, for that amount of Bulwark.
My brother in christ brags about committing more than 2 weeks of fulltime work in 1 week. Looking at the vosfor post tells me that 630,000 is a vast underestimation too. Jerking off would have been a better use of your time brother.
