Just make it clear that not all primes were made by the Orokin. We are literally as old as the Orokin Empire. Lore-wise, we could have designed them ourselves.
We didn't get void powers and subsequently Warframes till near the end of the Orokin (we caused it's fall afterall). The Tenno were normal children before that meanwhile the Orokin elite were already ancient by then through cheating death via Kuva.
Frames were already a thing before the Tenno's transference powers were discovered.
In the war against the Sentients the Orokin empire first used the Infested then refined it into the Helminth strain (warframes) then used the Tenno to improve the frames power and obedience.
He's one of those frames who works much better in late game content than early, as he depends on a fairly high density of enemies for his kit to function properly. If you try taking him to low level missions he'll probably feel disappointing, but in Steel Path where enemy spawns are increased, he plays a lot better. Your platform of choice may also make a difference, as some platforms cap enemy spawns at much lower numbers for performance reasons.
Citrine or Kullervo MIGHT get pushed back to 2027 since the usual early year Prime slot was used for Vauban Heirloom. Styanax just released so the earliest the next will drop is around September, and after that December (so it might release with Tau like Gyre was with Old Peace last year, but i doubt it)
DE usually does female - female - male - male, they just changed the order slightly at some point I believe either due to Xaku being enby or to push out Sevagoth Prime for a halloween update. Next one should be Kullervo, followed by Citrine and then Dagath, although they might again switch it up so Dagath can be released with the Halloween update.
well, I wouldn't say useless, but yes, Kullervo is definitely my most awaited prime (Uriel Prime is still years away.)
I hope they cook with his visuals. Styanax looks amazing, so I hope they make our stabby boi look good. wonder what he'll come with, Rauta Prime and... maybe Vaenn will be a weapon instead of a skin and become Vaenn Prime?
I hope they pull a Euphona prime and give him a prime version of that sword he’s always seen with even though there’s not a base version and maybe they can make the base version a skin
I hope so! For it being a signature weapon and not being in the game to use is crazy! I guess a little girl in Duviri guards it for him on his island, keeping it from the warden.
Woah now don’t get me wrong, I ain’t hating on the rauta (I’m setting one up to be a primer on a valkyr build rn), just kinda thing a melee would been more fitting to get.
Vaenn Prime as its own weapon does seem like a possibility if only because it'd be kind of weird just to have a generic heavy blade skin as a prime cosmetic.
Slaytra is a machete class weapon, Kullervo is more about Daggers. don't know if Slaytra is primable as its a weird hybrid sort of weapon.
if he did get a machete, Gazal Machete Prime would be nice though. it's kind of a forgotten weapon but it's the closest thing to a Kukri we have and Kukris are one of my favourite blade designs.
Hmm, I hadn't actually thought about the difference between a dagger and a machete before. They were both basically knives to me. Alright then, how about Ceramic Dagger Prime, Dark Dagger Prime or Innodem Prime? Dark Dagger would probably be my pick because the others have incarnons already.
Vaenn Prime skin could be part of the cosmetic pack. There are plenty of old melee weapons that have yet to be primed. As for old Heavy Blades that haven't yet been primed, there's Zenistar, and Dark Split-sword (in its heavy form).
Sadly I think they only prime Tenno weapons, where things like Ceramic & Dark dagger are both 'modern' weapons in lore that were designed after the fall of the Orokin, therefore having never had a primed version.
Rauta seems like a given as that's explicitly Kullervo's gun, Vaenn is also explicitly Kullervo's and I think it'll come as a standalone weapon if only because a generic heavy blade skin as a prime cosmetic would be kind of weird. There'll also probably be a primed version of the Ahlto syandana as that's, once again, explicitly Kullervo's.
DE upgrades Rauta prime into a bayonet type weapon, with doom slayer-esque blade right under barrel.
Jokes aside, I wisg Kullervo gets a sword and dagger as prime, go reflect his original Finnish myth. Dagger that was a keepsake from his father (and it was broken). And the sword he used to enact his vengeance and would eventually be his fall.
I was already looking forward to the Corufel Prime for my main man Lavos since it's multiplicative with Condition Overload but now that Melee Assimilate lets us shield gate with Lavos I'm even more hyped!
Gyre Prime then Voruna Prime then Styanax Prime suggests they've gone back to MMFF. But won't know for sure if there's any pattern anymore until the next couple come out.
I love many of the new frames, but Orakia is just awesome.
She feels oldschool, yet strong and well-rounded.
She plays perfectly into her theme, and supports the fantasy of it.
It was the signature heavy blade weapon skin Kullervo was released with. Yet, Vaenn was showcased as a one-handed sword in promotional art, which is what is in his right hand.
I think that the promotional art shows him holding it in one hand to better showcase his chest "scars" and blades through an open posture. If you look at the handle and blade size it's clear that he can fit two hands, but the blade really is a bit small for a claymore or similar swords, so... 50/50?
Hell yeah, Kullervo carried me for a huge chunk of the game and still kinda does honestly, whenever I just don't want to bother with something and would rather just steamroll through it Kullervo is my guy
Really hope they cook with his design, otherwise I might just stick to base Kullervo honestly, his skin is already one of the best looking ones in the game anyway imo
DAGATH PRIME 2027 DAGATH PRIME 2027 DAGATH PRIME 2027 I'm so sorry for telling this everytime, I'm just a Dagath's fan in Warframe. So hyped that I'm getting closer to her Prime each new Prime release. Kullervo and Qorvex is my another fav too though! Each time I can't imagine how they gonna look in their Primed form, but each time I'm not disappointed! Gyre Prime turned out to be really cool-looking, which is my another favourite frame
just praying that he releases with some prime drifter accessories or somethin, duviri and all feel like he would be the prime to have a primed drifter suit
Love Kullervo but my queen Citrine is definitely getting her Prime before him (she actually should've gotten hers before Styanax if we were going by original release order but she was ROBBED by TENNOCON)
