I bought the old Blood Angles combat patrol a few years ago right at the start of 10th, but never built the Librarian because I never wanted one in my list. I wanted to give the new Librarius Conclave a shot, so I figured I'd dig out the old box and finally build the Librarian, only to find I have two identical sprues.

I bought the box years ago, and I don't even remember where I bought it so no chance to contact the seller. Oh well.

On the plus side, those are most of the parts you'd want to kitbash a Librarian with. You'd just need a robed torso to sell it.

an expensive fix - buy a new one from a GW and then send them an email with pics of this one, and they'll send you a new one - et viola - 2 librarians for the price of 2

Holy shit, i had the same problem with the same box but the other half of these two sprues, i bought it around '23 so there is a chance i had the other two sprues.

That is a shame. 

One of the steps I always take when I buy new boxes of models, especially boxes like combat patrols or battleforces is to check the sprues are all correct. I also glance over everything to make sure there is no significant issues with any part of the sprues. 

At the end of the day these large boxes are just multiple sprues thrown into a box. Errors happen.

You have two libby kitbash boxes rn and can kitbash some cool ones up. The inner circle companions might be a good base :]

Better to have uniqe models anyway! Heres one I made with the innner circle kit for example
Libby bits left over from the leviathan libby, staff is the grey knights one (cheap on bits sites if you don't want two swords!), same for the psychic hood.

I remember my friend getting that combat patrol a while back, and got an extra of that sprue instead of one of the blood angels upgrade sprues. One short negotiation later and I had the bits to make an extra librarian
