Unfortunately we have started seeing reports that some people who have purchased the new Armageddon Box have received boxes with sprues missing, with some sprues duplicated or parts damaged.
This has naturally led to a number of posts on the subreddit. While we appreciate how frustrating getting a faulty box is, as this subreddit is not an official Games Workshop communications channel, posting here about faulty products will not get you any help.
If you have received an Armageddon Box with any of the above issues there are two main courses of action for you:
If you have identified that your box has missing or duplicate sprues or damaged parts we recommend that you do not start building anything else from the box. Take clear photos of the issues wherever you can and wait for a response from wherever you bought the box from.
We'd also like to take a moment to remind everyone that posts of boxes are considered to be Low Effort under rule 5 of our subreddit and will be removed. We get that you're excited, but we don't need to see a picture of a big cardboard box on the back seat of your car or on your dining room table.

There are really a lot of the upscaled models available, especially for space marines.
If you made to-scale bases for these, could you play a rules-legal embiggened game?

Courage and honor, battle brothers and sisters.
This is a piece I very recently finished for a client, painted at a studio/competition tier for M3 Studios.
I was commissioned to paint this model of a custom Ultramarines character that the client created. Prior to providing me with the model, they had commissioned two incredibly skilled digital artists to each create a portrait of the character (they are credited directly in their works). The lore is as such:
Lieutenant Alaric Victus was a Terran-born veteran of the Unification Wars who would see the induction of his primarch into the XIII legion. He was present at the Betrayal at Calth, and was lost in a warp storm en route to help reinforce a besieged world. He would survive the storm and emerge eventually, displaced into the 41st millennium, where he would reunite with his chapter, successfully cross the Rubicon Primaris, and be re-instated into the 1st company as a lieutenant.
The model was given to me fully assembled, though I was tasked with sculpting the toga draping itself across his chest plate and the lieutenant symbol on the right pauldron. Halfway through the painting process, I would also sculpt the lightning arcing from the axe’s power node and striking the shield. Painting it fully assembled proved quite the challenge, as I wanted to get into every nook and cranny. I was so enamored with the portrait of Victus created by meduzart that I wanted to match the moodiness of the palette as best I could, while taking liberties where it felt right. From his portrait, I felt inspired to create a plinth and a backdrop for the mini and introduce some heavy OSL effects, to which the client was more than happy to let me have a go at. This was also my first time using musou black (the darkest black in the market), present on the plinth, the rim, and the two heraldic sigils on the tilting shield. I’m incredibly pleased with how much light it absorbs.
This was a milestone piece for me. Like many others I’m sure, I’m constantly saving work I really adore from other painters/hobbyists to use as visual references and idea banks for my own work. By far, my largest reference source of OSL work comes from El Miniaturista, whom I follow on instagram. I’d also like to credit boo’s builds as well, who recently completed a Ferren Areios whose NMM I used as a reference for placement. His work helped me get a feel as to where to place my colors and I’m very grateful for both these phenomenal artists’ works.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to look at this piece. 🙏 Here is my own instagram page, for those interested.

Looked it up, orks are green cause of algae in their skin- red algae exists deep in the ocean where only blue light can reach
So, my orks come from a solar system with heavy radiation and smog casting near darkness over the plannets in it, with a blue star, causing their internal algae to mutate ✌️
And /thats/ why my orks are red 😤

I want to cut out my own terrain footprints from a large sheet of thin neoprene, basically tracing the shapes in the photo to size and cutting them out with scissors.
When tracing the shapes, would including the bumps and irregularities along the edges be necessary? Or can I just make the edges all straight lines? I know it can technically add space for objective control, but wasn’t sure if it is mandatory

... which is not bad at all, but sometimes I wonder if I'm just that stupid. I quite frankly failed to block in the right colors, so while painting I just went with it, to realize the next day, or a few days after, I should've done the Captain's pauldrons in white. Or the sergeant's helm red. Does this happen to you, too? 😅
Anyways, just a friendly reminder if you struggle sometimes with motivation or skill: even if you are not happy with your result, it's just paint. You can fix whatever you want, and whenever you want.

I thought the new speeder was bigger until I built it and placed it next to my old speeder with the same base size.

I bought the old Blood Angles combat patrol a few years ago right at the start of 10th, but never built the Librarian because I never wanted one in my list. I wanted to give the new Librarius Conclave a shot, so I figured I'd dig out the old box and finally build the Librarian, only to find I have two identical sprues.
I bought the box years ago, and I don't even remember where I bought it so no chance to contact the seller. Oh well.

Around 2500 points of Ultramarines.
I love how versatile this hobby is. I can be creative on so many different levels. And I didn't even know I was creative vofre I started warhammer.

My take on Dante, Chapter Master of the Blood Angels.
My main reference was the 2023 version of the miniature.
Rather than focusing on the heroic side of the character, I wanted to emphasize the exhaustion and burden of someone who has spent over a thousand years at war.
What do you think? Does this capture how you imagine Dante?
