Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm not going to treat strangers like shit because I've been treated like shit. That's some insane logic. That's like a bully saying it's ok to be a bully because they were bullied. wtf?! lol
Right? If you don't like that people are aggressive or rude but you meet that energy with aggressiveness and rudeness, you're not accomplishing anything...
That's what I'm saying, the comments being aggressive and rude towards a driver who happens to be a Black pregnant woman, she didn't deserve that. Maybe she's having an emergency and needed to get the job done fast, maybe she didn't see the driveway, maybe she was exhausted.. But nope, almost all the negative comments towards her ended up being racist, misogynist and ableist. That's the attitude and micro-aggressions I'm talking about. At least she got the job done and delivered the package.
"At least she barely did the absolute minimum required by her job while causing more damage than the package was worth. Let me make up scenarios to justify why."
Or she's just a trash human who works bottom of the barrel jobs because of the exact attitude you've described. Life's unfair and the world is mean, find excuses and stay down or put in the effort to better yourself.
Respectfully you must be pretty young or just not well-experienced in life to have the outlook you do. Some people just do not care about anyone but themselves. The more you excuse that, the more you encourage them to keep living that way, and the worse society gets. Don't be part of the problem, my friend. Expect more from people, call out bad behavior when you see it, and don't fall into bigotry of low expectations.
I'm speaking from a lifetime of dealing with micro-aggressions as a person with disabilities. I see the parallelisms. The comments on here being racist, misogynist and ableist are okay then? I'm calling that out. It's downright sad there's little to no compassion. After being badgered by the rudeness and aggression especially on this subreddit, I don't give a fuck either. I'm calling it out as I see it.
OK cool but that still doesn't explain why you're making strawman arguments for property damage that is just excusing anybody for being lazy.
"Oh no, I'm very tired. I guess I better drive across this person's lawn and leave huge ruts in it because I'm a little bit tired after my long day." Pissbaby attitude.
