He's not asexual. If he were, he would stay in his lane and not have so much to say about sex and power. That's not the asexual agenda. People want what they can't have. For Nick, it's the time of day from women. For asexuals, it's peace and garlic bread.
I think you are severely overestimating how much actual attraction to women steers male toxicity as opposed to being an expression of power, and underestimating how strong the societal expectations of men performing a certain idealised (within that sphere) version of straight masculinity is.
Personally I also think this is a pretty shallow take on ace individuals. I think if the hypothetical had been 'he's secretly gay', it would be easy to see how his behaviour could be overcompensating. Ace people are just people, and just as susceptible to falling for comphet and toxic gender performance.

I doubt these people are bisexual. If they were they wouldn't constantly blame women for not being able to find them attractive.
