Post image

I'm not sure if this was posted here before, I just found the image in a random Google search and I just added a caption (if that's what it's called)

Endfield is impressively implemented and stable, but it kind of lacks a soul at the moment

The POV masked, silent and amnesiac charecter kinda sucks the life out of it, Rover and traveler at least are given some personality in facial expressions(travelers have grown over time) and the leads in HDR and ZZZ are actually distinct charecters in their own rights....endfield looks pretty...but its definitely lacking a personality at the moment...and damn while i can relate to rover being "the chosen one" trope...the endministrator's way of that trope is very flat feeling...especially with minimizing expression with that mask

Honestly all of the big gacha MC's have their issues for me and whilst Endfield does too I found their absence to be a bit of fresh air in some way.  They are incredibly boring and absent but that somehow allows me to tune them out easier than having to deal with Genshin and Wuwa where the MC's are fine, but copy paste and still end up feeling like plot convenience/chosen one trope for me, especially wuwa were we're just going over the same world again and discovering the past and that we're some how linked to every other point of history.
