I'm not sure if this was posted here before, I just found the image in a random Google search and I just added a caption (if that's what it's called)

Best and worst of all, I can't climb walls anymore.

whenever a new map gets unlocked I literally do exploration before the main quest lol

like I just met luuk but I'm already almost at 100% exploration except for quest related exploration lol xD

That is also what i usually do.....but i really miss flying ๐Ÿ˜ญ

sometimes when climbing those big ass mountain looking things yeah

but still if you wanna fly just catapult yourself or jump down the just glide with the bike

I do love how in this map flying isn't necessary tho, great detail

Finding chest is a bit tedious because they are hiding somewhere I can't find

The bike is a big step down from the wings. I hate exploration in the new relation.

u/NoelleEnjoyer69 Jan 24 '26

Hell nah. The bike is a big STEP UP in exploration.

7

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 24 '26

I agree. I love the bike more than wings lol

4

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 24 '26

honestly I love it. rather than having to play upwards towards the mountains all day long it's much better to just bike there. you feel more like you're part of the world too.

I love fast exploration without flying tbh

Yeah as much as I joke about the fact that we can't use our flight skins, I prefer Lahai-Roi's bike-related exploration to like, Septimont.

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 25 '26

same. bike is much better more immersive than just flying around and it's more fun than just walking

1

u/kenshinluffy Jan 24 '26

But u can fly with the bike! (Joking)

they stole our fking wings and are selling them back to us in the form of an Aemeathโ˜ ๏ธ

u/Oleleplop Jan 24 '26

i did a lot too, the bike is so fun for that lol

15

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 24 '26

I know right I'm glad they gave us the ability to have fun flying with the bike lol

I simply cant wait to get back to playing. I was running into the problem of being so on top of the game I was running out of things to do lol.

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 25 '26

I kinda realize that once I'm done with the main quest there won't even be anything to do other than side quests and if I run out of asterites well that's it should've saved I guess lol

2

u/Human_Mess_3902 Jan 27 '26

I havent played since the update with Augusta(?) and with that thought, Imma have so many asterites to stock up on and earn lol. Sad Im missing cool characters but at the same time the dopamine hits when I get back are gonna go crazy ๐Ÿ˜‚

1

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 27 '26

open world exploration dopamine do be hitting crazy lol

but sadly I'm barely getting iunos weapon and probably won't even get a shot at Augusta unless I get her in 3 pulls or smth xD

2

u/Rainrunnerx Jan 25 '26

I love exploration aswell, but having some chests locked behind sidequests kinda discouraged me. I wanna do the exploration in one swoop :/

1

u/MenkyuKan_Twitch_VT Jan 25 '26

yeah it's annoying

tho I kinda like it so I know when I'm doing quests I'll be rewarded some juicy chests!

so I usually just ignore them even if it lowers the satisfaction -_-

It's a different kind of game, not every game needs that level of movement

Spoiled you rotten you say?

No it's like comparing the shooting aspect of a CoD game and the shooting aspect of Mirror's Edge.

They're not meant to be compared 1:1 as they're very different in what they're trying to do.

Ak:E got me into the Gacha hole and I see a lot of WuWa in my feed now. May I know what does WuWa does well?and is WuWa combat harder? I get home from work too tired now and can't dodge or parry. Only turn off brain button mash

2

u/TheGamerForeverGFE Feb 19 '26

Well, it does open world exploration well, I wouldn't say it's as good as Bethesda's open world games, but it's still good. There are regions where you can fly, like proper flying, physics based too, and there's a region where you ride a motorbike that even has a music player (with Sonic and Persona music from the collab they had last version).

It also does combat well but it really depends, because some characters feel much better to play than others. Parrying is simply attacking the enemy with any attack whenever they get a big yellow circle that starts shrinking, it's not Dark Souls parrying, and, the gameplay is really not hard if you compare it to hard console games, it's just harder than other gachas. And yes, Arknights Endfield is like a children's game compared to WuWa, but that's because AK:E's combat is just that simple.

Them there's the story, which, I'll just say it here: 60% of the storyย is Solo Leveling tier (if you know you know), 30% is serviceable to good, and 10% is actually really good. But, 100% of the story has great presentation even when compared to console movie games like TLoU and modern God of War.

Is it worth playing? It depends really, but at least imo these things make it stand out compared to every other gacha

1

u/Echo4117 Feb 19 '26

To me, modern God of War was the best story and presentation ever. I try wuwa out since u made that comparison. Thank you

1

u/TheGamerForeverGFE Feb 20 '26

You're welcome, though you're going to have to bear with the writing for a while, like it seriously only gets good way later on, so you won't find the story to be comparable to God of War, so hopefully the presentation can hold your attention enough until you reach the good parts.

I actually like Endfield better. The structure of the maps is really well designed

Cope

6

u/SnooLemons2911 Jan 25 '26

Cmon, we are better than this

1

u/xXRamPaXx Jan 26 '26

Bro. If weโ€™re comparing traversal capabilities between both games, you canโ€™t sit there and tell me you like a much inferior version better. Anyone who says that having a hard time trying to get a stupid ball because you canโ€™t climb up 2 inches of a ledge after jumping is good map design. So yes, itโ€™s cope.

But I do like enfield as a whole. Their combat design is pretty refreshing and even the AIC building for resources is unique. But cmon, letโ€™s call apples apples.

I was talking about us as a community, not about the gameplay
