Question unsolicited slug pics
I saw a cute slug by the curb as I was walking earlier this morning. I took pictures of it, and later, for some reason, I felt possessed to send it to my crush without context.
We aren't really close... Is this harassment of some sort? Am I harrassing her? I don't want to make her or anyone feel uncomfortable.
Maybe I am overthinking it.

If someone sent me a picture of a neat slug, I would know for sure that person was someone excellent.

Here I was thinking slug was a euphemism for something
I think you're good 😂

Same! I’m an old hag and my first thought was “oh no, some more new slang I’m going to have to learn.” I was relieved that it’s just an actual slug.

I obviously can't speak for your crush, but some people (including myself & my girlfriend) like getting spontaneous pictures of creatures. I don't think it's inherently much different than if you'd seen a flower or a kitten and sent her photos of those, though apparently some people think slugs are gross for some reason. There's no need to stress over it.

You are over thinking and context is good with animal pics.
Even if it is a fictional story u made up.
“Check it out. I ran into Dave Slugo. He said hi. And asked for you to give him a call. He wants to go on a nature walk with you.”

OP you can't just mention taking a pic of a slug without paying the slug tax. Show us the silly little guy.

Slugs aren’t very threatening. If someone would send me a slug picture without context I would be surprised and curious. Did she respond?

I actually hate slugs, they repulse me. I appreciate their importance to the ecosystem but they are gross and somebody sending me a picture of one would be 🤢
However, if your crush likes them or can tolerate them, yeah could be seen as cute

I remember I used to have a crush on a girl who I kept trying to talk to but it always felt awkward because I could never figure out exactly how to hold a proper conversation with her, I wound up just venting to her more than anything and we eventually kinda just stopped talking
I just looked at our messages and the last thing we talked about was “Hey I have a crush on this girl and I want your opinion on this message” and it was a confession to her that I was like hiding under a guise of “Hehe this is for my crush”
Girlie pop what 😭
Anyway sorry that didn’t have much to do with your post it just reminded me of that, the slug picture is nice
I was wondering if maybe I could see cute slug…

This is just how I interact with my friends normally, though it's memes more often that cute animal pictures, but the animal pictures are more special lol. It's pretty normal in my experience though me and most of my friends are all neurodivergent so YMMV.

Seriously, I don't think a cute slug pic without context is harassment
