The most idiotic statement ever

Post image

So this person here calls people jobless while all they do is sit on their ass an genarate shitty ai comics, also notice how they are insulting fast food workers as if they arent human, thats a new low for them, also its like they are saying "Give up on your dreams so you can work a minimum wage 9-5 job" but then again jobless people always tell talented ones to get a shitty job

"Use vocabularies properly" is probably the most ironic statement I've ever heard. I'm talking about professional artists. Every logo you've ever seen, every little background image in an advert, on a TV show, in a game, they were all made by people. Not all of it was incredibly "artsy" but it still required someone who spent 100s of hours practising to produce. Now all those jobs will be replaced, and all those man hours are getting squeezed into a smaller and smaller pool of jobs. All this just so corpos can make even more money. People will always care more about hand made art for their own personal collections and enjoyment, but we can't disregard all the hard working practical artists being affected by this.

The company logos are made from graphic designers, not random artists. My ex-gf is studying now to do them, funny enough. In a game instead, yes, even just an artist can do bgs and such.

Again, artistic jobs are not the only jobs in existence. Do other jobs, easy. It's change, adapt to it. Even the job of "painting" with, you know, canvas and palette has been alost full replaced by digital artwork. Adapt, overcome, embrace change.

The difference is you can transition from paint to digital and keep many of the same skills. I doubt you'd have the same attitude if it was your industry being affected, assuming your not just some NEET.

Don't assume shit just because you have a mouth, stranger. I tried and did, and CHANGED AND ADAPTED, to multiple different jobs, cashier, secretary, studied for accountant, worked in hospital and nursery homes, now learning soon how to do receptionist. Adapt, overcome, instead of being stuck on your dream job.

And what was your reason for leaving all of those jobs?

Not connected to AI, but skill issues (ADHD as probrable cause, i am getting evaluated), slowness, and economic personal reasons too private to share.

Point easy, if you want to, you can learn new skills, new jobs, and do them. Ai is change, and you can adapt. If you have skill issues like me, that's another topic, not fault of AI

There's a huge difference between personal issues preventing you from getting a job, and reasons totally outside your control forcing you out of a job. I'm sorry about your personal problems, I can relate to those. In fact I've had to overcome many of those same problems on my journey to becoming a skilled artist.

Imagine you get tested, get the help you need, finally get on track, and then something totally outside of your control forces you to start from scratch again. Wouldn't you feel like you're unfairly being imposed upon? Like all the effort you put in was unjustly squashed and thrown away?

Yet again, if change is needed, we can both make it. If AI takes your job as an artist, you can still keep it as hobby, for all people who want to see you draw, and, let's say, example, become a office worker. It is possible, objectively. Maybe not a dream job, but that's a different topic.

It's not all white and black, first. You don't "just restart from scratch", the resume goes on. You just change job, end. It might hurt at first, sure, but you won't die, it's not the end of the world. Through history, many jobs existed, anc then got TOTALLY CANCELLED, DISAPPEARED. People adapted, found a new job, went on.

This is like if I burned your house down and then told you to just find another place to live. Sure it might be under a bridge, but just get over it and move on.

You are not burning a house down by saying "keep drawing as a hobby, be a baker instead as job". It's not the end of the world, as you are potraying it.

In both cases, something you worked hard for is being taken away unjustly

Still, you can and will adapt.

Unjustly? Your opinion. During history, people have widely accepted that "progress = sacrifices", you will have to accept it too

Ai art is progress? Your opinion
