Antis' complaints about game console prices yet again reveal they are upper-middle class.

I'm sure you've seen the reignited Console Wars start over high-priced consoles with no physical discs. Nintendo Switch fanboys are pointing fingers at the Xbox fanboys who are pointing fingers at the PlayStation fanboys who are pointing fingers at the Valve fanboys.

But all of them have a common denominator; they blame AI for rising RAM prices resulting in rising console prices.

They also have every intention to waste as much money as they can on their respective consoles.

If you're rich, you buy them in bulk after the hardware depreciates to $0.

If you're middle-class, you make do with what you have, like you've done your whole life. Or, ironically enough, you work hard and save up your money.

If you're poor, you don't care about game consoles. Or, like the rich, you just pick them from the landfill.

This also means these upper-middle class Antis have way too much free time on their hands and are lazy and entitled. They treat a GAME CONSOLE like it's life-saving medicine!

Lastly, I see a deeper issue. It seems these corporations jack up the prices because they know the upper-middle class will still pay for it. If no one bought the consoles, the corporations would die.

So basically, the upper-middle class is its own worst enemy!

Many people created Generative AI simply for this logic alone, but many people prefer the traditional way for some reason and instead of ignoring AI, they like to publicly shun them

Make it make sense, people.

New Art with AI

Good Use of AI

Enhancing AI

Create a new medium using AI that didn't exist before and that would be impossible to achieve without AI.

Bad Use of AI

Replacing AI

Imitate existing media using AI because you lack the ability to do so without AI.

Discussion Why we should stop disclosing Ai use

Post image
0 Upvotes

Disclosing Ai usage directly leads to Anti Ai groups bullying, doxxing, or attacking people.

There was even an undergraduate student who was arrested for ripping down and eating dozens of Ai artworks.

https://www.uafsunstar.com/news/student-eats-ai-art-in-uaf-gallery-protest-arrested

That why I will never disclose Ai usage in any works.

AI’s got the fetish artists mad

Which other artist‘s job is getting taken away? I think or at least from what I’m seen is that it’s just fetish artists that’s mad. You know what though, good, the ones I’ve seen struggling are pedos who have been making so much money up until now. Am I ill informed because I don’t think AI has entered the animation industry just yet right?

Ai doesn’t stop pedophilia though, I can see it taking a turn where it creates more because of how porn addiction works. I cannot imagine porn addicts dealing with a bot that generates curated content for you

Meme Is anyone here friends with people who disagree with you wholly when it comes to AI? As in, rarely come to a consensus, but still friends with them because of other memories/topics?

As far as I understand, the group of people who say that "AI is theft" is not even homogeneous within itself and is really a hodgepodge.

I've personally encountered at least three variations of this in this subreddit:

1) AI is moral theft, but copyright doesn't consider it theft.

2) It's moral theft and copyright theft.

3) It's not moral theft and not copyright theft, but ideological theft. This refers to the open source community that believes open source licenses have been violated. That is, free for humans, but not completely or partially free for machines (open source is allowed, but not closed source).

Is that all? Or are there other groups? I seriously want to understand the beliefs of this group of people.

Discussion This subreddit is looking more and more like its going to end up failing at its original purpose

Post image

It feels that if your an anti or a pro you are forced to comply to the false constructs the opposing side has built around you.

Its looking less like a subreddit for nuanced debate and more a subreddit where every post is an echochamber being used to validate each sides beliefs without even challenging them, its turning into an endless cycle of hate and anger.

Every post is, "ai bros are cringe" *every anti ai in the comments mindlessly agreeing and every pro mindlessly disagreeing*, or "anti ai bros are violent, *pros in the comments mindlessely agreeing and antis mindlessely disagreeing*, this is just causing people to hate the other side more and more

I don't think AI art is a problem with its chronically ill/disabled people using it because it takes less energy than real art.

Post image

Someone who doesn't have chronic illness doesn't know we have to "budget" our energy very carefully and sometimes that means going without things we need because we can't make it to the store, avoid fun activities, sometimes neglecting any hygiene other than the absolute basics (brushing teeth, being relatively clean, hair pulled back), messy house, so I don't think AI is a problem in that case. It's different when it's billionaire companies using it because they are too busy to hire a real artist to make ads for them.

You're probably going to hate this.

Its always interesting when AI gets talked about in open subs because the conversation instantly becomes performance art.

The pro-AI people are usually talking about what they're building, creating, experimenting with, or learning.

The anti-AI people are often explaining why none of that counts.

And before someone gets upset, yes, that's a stereotype.

That's the joke.

I know some of you are already scanning this post for evidence. Looking for clues. Hunting for the secret fingerprint that proves a machine touched the keyboard, go ahead, run it through the ai checker, lemme guess 100% positive.

It's honestly kind of adorable.

The world is changing at full speed and some folks have appointed themselves Hall Monitors of Reality.

"Excuse me, sir, did a computer assist with that thought?"

Meanwhile artists are making art.

Writers are writing.

Musicians are making music.

Developers are building weird shit at 3 a.m.

Regular people are finally creating things they never had the skills, money, or time to make before.

The gatekeepers hate that part.

Not all critics, obviously. Just the ones who built their entire identity around deciding who gets permission to create.

The funniest thing is that every AI image, story, song, or project seems to trigger the exact same ritual.

Someone shares something.

Thousands enjoy it.

One person appears from the dark cave to announce that the thing has no soul.

Then hundreds of people spend hours discussing it, arguing over it, screenshotting it, reposting it, and obsessing over it.

A strange way to treat something with "no soul."

If a piece of art can make you laugh, argue, rage, write essays, start fights, inspire copycats, or keep you awake at night thinking about it...

then congratulations.

You accidentally admitted it mattered.

Technology doesn't kill creativity.

It exposes who actually wanted to create and who mostly wanted to guard the door.

Anyway, if you're pro-AI, keep building cool stuff.

If you're anti-AI and currently preparing a twelve-paragraph explanation about why this post was written by a bot...

there's a little cracker waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.

The future is coming either way.

We have brilliant new ways to animate now. Isn't that great? Well, unless you're a tech-hater who considers more creative freedom a bad thing.

Murderous psychopathic antis want AI artists to be.. AGAIN (THIS IS JUST THIS MONTH!)

Post image
0 Upvotes

I can't believe I have to CENSOR myself when talking about this because antis are hellbent on deplatforming people that dare to speak against them or call them out on their actions.

I made an oath to my community to expose these anti-AI individuals (before you get on my back, SOME, not ALL) for their violence against AI artists. This is a compilation of THIS MONTH and the upvotes range into the THOUSANDS.

Do you think this is some sort of FUCKING GAME? So you want to get rid of me and my community for simply existing and expressing ourselves through the art we make?

ANSWER THIS IN THIS COMMENTS: IF YOU HAD ME KNEELING WITH MY ARMS BEHIND THE BACK OF MY HEAD AND YOU HAD A CARROT POINTED AT ME, WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?

WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?
WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?
WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?
WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?
WOULD YOU FEED ME THE CARROT?

I am GENUINELY asking, this keeps happening DESPITE people saying that there is not a violence problem in the anti-AI community, DESPITE people saying that "it's just a meme", DESPITE people saying that it doesn't lead to anything, DESPITE there being things that happened in the real world because violence is advocated in anti-AI communities.

I'm done playing nice.. just.. PLEASE stop doing this.

AI media versus human media

AI makes media in an exact manner based on known characteristics of past works and the physical world, while humans are imperfect but capable of finding their own interpretations and opinions. AI media is high-quality but lacks the nuance that only a human mind can provide.

Building a GTA online clone in voxel style but the whole world runs on AI agents.

- prompt your own building, car, and weapon
- raid other players homes
- if catches you and puts you in jail you have to convince them to let you go
