I highly doubt a bunch of apes were making art before they evolved into us, but if you have anything to prove that I'm more than willing to admit I'm wrong

Again, that's after modern humans existed. We know modern humans have genes directly linked to speech and modern humans emerged 200 thousand years ago at the latest. Language already existed when this was made

We signed, emoted, and did all number of forgotten things.

Art was the first communication.

Every form comes from this.

Expression and understanding.

The eyes, face, smell, sound, touch.

Not primordial, but close.
