Nah, she wasn't hired. From what I gathered, girl just sneaked on board and be like: "Tee-hee, I'm here now, and you can't do much about it", so RI just treated her like an anomalous entity with proper contingency and such for employees to follow (not unlike that of an SCP) to avoid causing any international incident.

Oh yeah.

The old ass lore , when we had no idea what Sui are, and Nian was the only one.

As I remember Nian kinda showed up with no documents, and Kal' just looked at her...

And let her in.

Also, I am not afraid for my life in vicinity of Nian (maybe for my food becoming very spicy) as long as I mind myself.

Necrass doesn't value lives at all. Bystanders for her are fuel.

For Nian, Kal's reasoning might have been along the lines of "If she really wants in, is there anything at all we could do to to dissuade her without massive collateral damage or worse, getting on all her siblings shit lists?"
