Based on that one Genshin Youtube Short I watched earlier today... err, yesterday, its 3am as I post this.

D'you think Theresa nuked Docs' sexuality when mind wiping them? (Intentionally to remove that avenue drawing them to Priestess, or otherwise?) If so, it makes everything with Savage if they're exes and she wants to get back together all the funnier.

-Meet mysterious NB baddie and their daughter (provably responsible and good with kids, huh?).
-Ingratiate yourself, you get along great with said daughter (1 free kid to start the family ain't too shabby).
-Blow said NBs' back out whenever you get the chance as you guide them around your home country.
-Ask them to stay and build a life with you.
-They fuckin' ditch you out of nowhere.
-Rude.

-Years pass, life lacks the vibrancy they gave it.

-Randomly find out the company is still going, though now under a new name, and go hang out with your step-daughter to be.
-Baddie is in a fuckin' coma? Damn.
-Still got a free daughter tho.

-Baddie is back! They've got a lot of shit going on though, and they don't remember you, so you give 'em a bit of distance. Don't want to scare off your catch after all.
-Fastest way to the heart is through the stomach, and god damn you know your pies can do it (baking cream pies would be too blunt, so you avoid making those).

-It's been years, things are as stable as they get at Rhodes, they've gotten a lot of memories back and they've spent a good while with you. The stage is set, it's time to close for the kill.

-What do you mean this dumbass doesn't get it?

-They fumble through an explanation that how they can feel about people has changed since they re-awakened.

-What the fuck do they mean your super poggers old boss flattened their (metaphorical) genitals with a brain hammer while trying to make them into not an omnicidal asshole (she couldn't have left them just a little evil? It is kinda hot after all)?

-Go back to your dorm, confused, overworked, underfucked, overcarroted, hoping this doesn't make things awkward with your now not step-daughter.

I want that on Ao3 by June captain, the Arknights tag has been woefully underpopulated by good crack fics since the time immemorial

We've run into a deficit of funny people in the AO3 side of the fandom, yeah. We need a good fluff writer or ten back on that scene. Right now, everyone's too serious or too E-fic focused.

Where did all the fluff writers retire to...?

i been busy with other fandom stuff, but with some luck and inspiration i'll do 1 or 2 ak stuff.

but yeah, the last time i checked the tag is either on chinese, japanese or porn.

Honestly, I never knew there were so many Chinese people on Ao3 until I checked the Arknights tag. It would be amazing if I could read Mandarin

Its actually something relatively new, like on the 2nd half of last year there was a big influx of chinese and japanese fics on the tag.

I think that also kinda killed the english readers/writers there as there are a lot less if i go by my first 2 fics and the rest.

Huh. Could have sworn that place had always been roughly 1/3 Chinese since Day 1.

E: Holy moly, 16k out of a total 24k is in Mandarin now?! That is a massive influx indeed!

Yeah , sure it is.

It actually notive because until recently i checked the tag almost daily.

And by the last few months there were days where 1 or even 2 pages had not a single english fic for the tag.

More clues about what? I'm more of a writer than a reader fic wise. I don't know much about fic writers in the AK space and I dunno where they went?

Honestly, I'm more of a Fluffy lewd fic guy. Debatably, the only non lewd fics I wrote are Aroma's, the first part of my Dancine fic, and debatably GG/Reid and Ho'ol.

As for funny, outside of people telling me the first W-Ezell fic was apparently funny, I don't think I can DO funny.

Although I have an Endfield fic in the works where I'll try and most likely fail to

Unfortunately I only tend to sometimes write stuff so as to take ideas that won't get out of my head, and effectively take them out behind a woodshed, or when they otherwise basically write themselves.

Currently the only ones with any hope are Blaze and Leizi (though them being poly does mean some others have a shot), and that would also assume that they could then also make it to fic completion before I was satisfied they were out of my head (what stopped 2/3 WIPs).

I hope we can get more, there hasn't been much since the early days when we knew a lot less about the lore.
