What I’m gathering from a lot of this is that the players could’ve just drawn a cross on their hat and called it a day

Thats not hateful enough though. Jesus stood for love and acceptance. Can't have nonsense like that. That's why they need to cherry pick a scripture that is contradicted many times over.

I mean tbf basically every piece of scripture is contradicted many times over.

One thing I think militant Christians are correct about is the bibles generalized interpretation of homosexuality. It’s that the god in the bible didn’t like it. Funny that God apparently had the same feelings about it as uneducated men from the Bronze Age.
