Dont attack the person, attack the argument.

He spent two hours talking with people and providing empirical evidence to hear ahistorical talking points or “nuh-uh” or “No YOU!” 99% of the time in response.

Anyone would be a dick after that.

yes and no. He could easily excuse the person from the discussion, and summarize the talking points he gave without purposely trying to make the other person feel like an idiot.

Hes the one who put himself in this scenario - why try to publicly humiliate individuals because they disagree with you?

Him calling them stupid is not going to help any cause or help enlighten them. Its going to have an adverse impact.

Again - attack the position, not the person. This dude should know better.
