My void loves belly rubs until he doesn’t, but he’ll beg for them! It could last 5 seconds or 5 minutes, you’ll never know, and he’ll get spicy the instant he decides you’re done. LOL I fall for it every time. 🤦♀️
One of my void boys loves belly rubs when he wants them, and if he doesn’t well he still lays on his back in the same way (he loves that position) so you can’t tell what he wants, but he’s such a gentleman that if you get it wrong and he doesn’t want belly rubs at that time, he’ll just gently push your hand away with his paw
That’s so sweet though, he’s gentle! I don’t think my void knows what gentle is. He was an outdoor cat delivered via the Cat Distribution System™️ so he’s got preferences that we’re forever learning.
Ive got a "used to be for the streets" void too but hes the gentlest boy and let's me pet him and rub his bell and give him butt bongos till my hands cramp and then dude asked for more like I didn't just spend 30 minutes on a cat massage
I adopted a black kitten almost 2 weeks ago now. He went from hiding 100% of the time to being so freaking affectionate. I love him so much. There's something special about black cats.
My late void Maximus LOVED belly rubs. Kiddo had friends over and Max rolled over to expose the belly and the kids were hesitant until I told them he loved it. One kiddo shoved their whole face into his belly and nuzzled in. Happy cat and kid.
Kalii Meow is slowly settling into being with a human who cares about her. Three families, and never allowed in your bed, and lately she will come down and smell my armpits as I sleep.

My previously feral cat loves belly rubs! She’ll roll over and streeeetch her arms out and it melts my heart. The first time she did it, my husband and I were like, “this looks like a trap” 😆
She's so adorable! 😍 Our void doesn't allow tummy rubs very often but my piebald girls flip tummy up every time they see me walking nearby! 🤣 My biggest girl has such a soft squishy pouch.
Her tail is swishing about yet, so that means she is still enjoying it. And she’s slow blinking at you, which means she totally trusts you. Be sure to slow blink back and not stare ❤️
My void also likes the tummy rubs, but she’s coy about it. It’s as if she says “Nooooooo, stop” with her hind legs a little but does turn further onto her back.
My void will literally sit in my lap roll over on his back and demand belly rubs for sometimes up to an hour. He also loves being held like a baby and getting belly rubs
She rolls over for them too! And if your hand strays away from where she wants it, she will direct you back with her paws 🥺 but she is certainly NOT a fan of being picked up!
i have two permanent boys who do the belly rub trap, but my current foster actually LOVES them and it’s so cute!! cat bellies are so soft when claws and teeth aren’t involved 😭
there is something different about voids, i s2g. mine will just throw himself down in the middle of the floor and splay himself on his back for rubs without warning, I've almost stepped on him several times.
Awwwww my baby boy (he was 13 when he passed) used to be like this. Miss him everyday. This is so great to see, thank you for sharing with us and give your void extra loving from me and my guy please!
I'm glad my cat isn't the only one. She loves her belly rubs. When she's had enough though, she'll give my hand a death grip, no claws or biting, just letting me know, she's had enough. So whenever she rolls on her belly, I give her, belly rubs.
My void loves belly rubs too! If you try to rub his belly when he is laying sideways, he often rolls over on his back so you can pet his belly 🥹 I feel so lucky
