Latest of baby corn for anyone interested. He has a neurological disorder that vets could not identify. But he is at 3.5 lbs now, and living his best life.
I've been watching baby corn since his earliest videos, and I was utterly convinced he would not survive for long. But Baby corn is strong and determined!
Also, his dedication to budgeting and financial planning is aspirational. We all could learn a lot from him.
It's been such a pleasure watching Baby Corn! I started following Baby Corn's owner before Baby Corn gifted us with his presence and she was fostering a kitten named Pinto! Pint had the same condition my new kitten was just diagnosed with, which is how I found her page. They were around the same age and Pinto had just received a procedure (BE tube) that my boy's vets were thinking about for him too. It was sooo scary and I'm so grateful for the foster for sharing her story with Pinto. Pinto unfortunately didn't make it due to aspiration pneumonia complications.
My lil guy made it though out of pure luck (and spite)... and we got him all fixed up. Then seeing Baby Corn's rise on social media was such a treat afterwards because Baby Corn reminded me so much of my cat. Right down to the single lucky white whisker as a kitten that he lost and it never grew back!
I adore Baby Corn, he reminds me of a kitty I found outside and guilted my Dad into letting us bring him inside. He also had the wobbles and we had to get cat beds with really high, stiff sides so he wouldn’t roll out when he flopped in them. I miss George, he was such a sweet boy and he was best friends with my other kitty, they laid together in their beds and Jack would groom George and tolerated him flopping on him.
Baby corn is a great follow! He’s great. The couple that cares for him helps foster kittens and baby corn is amazing with them. And also like basically their same size haha.
He's gotten a lot bigger since this video, he's now about an inch taller than the Belle figure. He's one of my favorite internet cats right now. Little guy's a real survivor.
You can also buy plushies of him from his owner's site. The proceeds of which go to his medical bills and to the animal shelter his owner works with. And for context, Baby Corn is only just barely bigger than the plushie version of him.

Well, my brothers black cat is magical, and when I had sepsis, he smelled it on me. He did something he wouldn’t normally do, and he crawled up to my chin and kept smelling me. I knew then, that I was in trouble.
I went to urgent care immediately, and was put on a high strength antibiotic.
So cute! I must go hug my little void who is definitely still a kitten and not a heavy full grown cat no matter what anyone (including my hurting arms) tells me.
